Best carpenters pencils.
Can get a nice fine tip on these for more fine work. Or will last ages doing less accurate work, seem like in sharpen them less than other pencil. Leds never break when you drop them.

Does the job as it should
Flat Shape = No Roll: This thing refuses to roll off your workbench. Total W for anyone working on sloped surfaces. Tough Lead: The lead is thicker and harder than normal pencils, so it doesn’t snap easy – made for marking rough stuff like timber, concrete, and brick. Visible Marks: Leaves solid, dark lines even on dusty, textured surfaces. You’ll see it, even if your wood’s looking crusty. Customisable Tip: You sharpen it with a knife (or chisel), which lets you shape it to a fine point or a flat edge depending on what you need. ❌ Cons: Not for Detail: Don’t expect precision like a mechanical pencil. It’s more "quick sketch" than "architect blueprint." Needs Blade to Sharpen: Can’t chuck it in a normal pencil sharpener unless you wanna ruin both. Gotta carry a blade or sandpaper block. Chunky to Hold: Not made for long writing sessions – more comfortable for quick marks than essay writing. ⚒️ Who It’s For: Builders, DIYers, site workers, woodworkers. If you’re working in sawdust and grit, this pencil was literally made for you.

Sharpens well and marks well, good value. Only downside is they are hard to put behind your ear. The wide edge is too wide and the narrow edge is too narrow. I usually put it behind the ear narrow way and turn it the wide way to wedge it in place

to say these pencils are the best on the market is an understatement
Well, to say these pencils are the best on the market is an understatement. Some time ago I purchased some Rexel Blackedge pencils from ebay (could have been genuine or fake, not sure) but the lead was constantly breaking and was relatively soft meaning frequent sharpening when they were used on brickwork. One reviewer described having urges to snap his pencils in half as a sure and quick way of condemning them to a certain fate. I understood this sentiment vividly with the Rexel Blackedge pencils. The Staedtler pencils are significantly better as the lead is much harder and higher quality. They are also thicker pencils than the Rexel Blackedge and therefore more comfortable to use. They work well on timber also and for which I have not found them to be too hard. I have uploaded some photos for you so you can see the difference in quality between these, the superior Staedtler Pencils, and the Rexel Blackedge.

Very good.
I'm a carpenter and use these pencils all day, every day, I have tried the cheap makes in an attempt to save money but have found that VERY often a cheaper pencil will literally last only hours (due to lead breaking all the time) whereas one of these pencils could last weeks. CHEAPER and MUCH better in the LONG RUN!! Mark. UPDATE; I've had these pencils for months now and I just can't believe how long each pencil lasts, as a real life estimate I would guess that one of these pencils last as long as 10 or maybe even 15 cheaper pencils. Don't waste your money- buy these.

High quality give lovely lines sharpen with knife or special pencil sharpener without splintering.
Always struggling to find a pencil that draws when I am doing DIY or or my expert DIY father comes over to do complicated projects. The HB pencils I have aren’t good enough so I bought him these. They are solid really high quality wood, the lead gives a lovely clear visible line and wipes off tiles easily. They are highly visible being green and don’t roll off surfaces so are always where I left them. They can be easily knife sharpened but as I am not able to knife sharpener them due to my medical condition I did buy a pencil sharpener from Amazon to go with them and they sharpened lovely and fast and didn’t splinter. These may have cost a bit more than some of the other carpenters pencils on offer but were certainly worth it from their quality. I have tested Staedler pencils for my art drawing work so I knew they would be good quality and I am not disappointed. I would highly recommend them.
