A coffee experience worth paying for!
I don't often review my purchases, but this deserves one, for the benefit of you, and the seller! The taste is full and round, rich yet smooth, with chocolatey hints (not citrusy or particularly fruity as another reviewer has said) , while not being intensely bitter or overbearing. The crème it produces is thick and dark (almost looking like a hot chocolate!), it looks pretty sexy as far as coffee making goes hahaha! I've been buying and trying organic coffee beans from a variety of sellers and manufacturers, seeking out which are the best. Me and my mum have been critiquing each coffee, but neither of us can fully settle on an opinion together, until this wonderful coffee arrived! While not being the cheapest of beans, you're paying for quality, as well as the peace of mind that you're helping a small family business, not some giant coffee seller and exploiter! If you really enjoy coffee, then you're paying for an experience, and in my (and my mum's) opinion this is definitely one worth paying for.

Coffee as it used to be
Super coffee: rich, full-tasting and yet without even the slightest hint of bitterness. I grind the beans fairly fine and then use an Aeropress, and my one cup of coffee a day, with organic double cream from (named) Jersey cows and organic coconut sugar is quite wonderful, Perhaps it's just as well I limit myself to one cup a day, however, given the price of these beans... It's not fair to complain, however, because this coffee is organic and comes in a rather smart and reusable tin. Given that the coffee *is* organic, the taste is amazing. Often, as choice with organic coffee beans is limited, you end up with a very-good-but-not-excellent cup; not so with this brand. As an added bonus, if you sign up for the Café Saula newsletter on their website (following a link given on a card which is included with the packaging), you receive a code for £1 off your next purchase. Perhaps not for absolutely every day, but certainly for high days and holidays and, given that you can have this coffee gift-wrapped, for a present for someone you want to reward - or just love.

A bean that works well in my Delonghi coffee machine!
I've struggled for a while to find a coffee bean that tastes just as good in my Delonghi coffee machine as it does in a cafetiere. Saula is that brand for me - a lovely fruity and creamy flavour.

The coffee is much like Illy dark roast coffee in my opinion but was ...
I have been using Illy ground coffee for some years but having recently bought a grinder I decided to buy these coffee beans after reading the reviews. The coffee is much like Illy dark roast coffee in my opinion but was smoother and with no bitter aftertaste. The grinder did an excellent job with the coffee beans and I was really pleased with the coffee. I like the idea of an orgnanic coffee and will certainly buy this coffee again. If you like rich, smooth, chocolatey, continental tasting coffee (not the citrus, sweet coffees that seem to be popular today), then I would recommend trying this particular brand.

I got a nice tin.
Whilst there are some fancy and romantic words describing this coffee, it is as other reviewers say just "ok". It's not the strongest by any stretch, and to me the taste was weak compared to some other coffee I have had, that costs less but you get double the weight. I tried a blindfolded taste test to see if I could identify which I preferred and in the end, I chose my original beans. I gave them a go, but for the price I won't be re-ordering any time soon. Still, I got a nice tin.

The best coffee beans at an excellent price, and being organic a bonus.
Superb taste without any bitterness or sharpness. Really smooth flavour, and with a distinct rich coffee aroma. We are hard to please coffee devotees and these are by a long way the best we have found, even better than premium top of the price range from small producers.

A real luxury coffee treat.
I have been trying different brands for a while now trying to find one with the "wow" factor. This is it for me, does what it says on the tin! From opening it and smelling the aroma, to grinding then the taste of the brew is a real treat on the senses. Smooth, fruity yet full bodied, this is a great coffee. Equally satisfying using the aeropress or in a cafeteria when sharing with friends, this delivers. Positive feedback from all who have tasted this, this is a treat for all real coffee lovers.
