Q: Would this work for a subwoofer? After something that goes under my sub to stop vibration being sent downstairs into the flat below. Thanks

It might do but I think it is designed more to stop washing machines vibrating off raised surfaces. That said, since using it our washing machine doea seems a little quieter when in spin mode. Hope this helps.

Q: Is this rigid enough so a washing can slide onto it? Our machine is under a counter so it has to slide it can not be place onto the mat.

No, it will not slide over the mat. However, if you place the machine on the mat first, you will be able to slide them both under the counter, providing the floor is smooth.

Q: Is it waterproof and made of rubber?

The material itself is finely shredded recycled rubber and as such water resistant (it won't rot). However, as the mat is quite porous, it will not provide protection for the floor underneath, should a spillage onto the mat occur!

Q: The dimensions seem a bit small, does this really fit snugly under the normal household washing machine?

This would have fitted under. However we couldn’t physically manoeuvre the whole machine onto it. We didn’t have lifting equipment. We cut the mat in half. Tilted machine and slid half under rear feet then did the same with the front feet. It has reduced the vibration.
