I have three slow cookers in the last 10 years and I was keen to get cracking with this one. The product arrived quickly and I found the price very realistic. The product looks exactly the same as the image and I have found it easy to wipe down the red 'shell' of the unit and it does not leave a smear from the cloth or the cleaning product. The cooking dish itself is beautiful and solid and would be perfect for serving the food straight at the table; it is also transferable to the oven. I tend to set my slow cooker dish up the night before so that I can lift it out of the fridge and place it in the base unit in the morning, switch it on and go. The dish easily holds a meal suitable for feeding 6 hungry people. I have cooked a variety of dishes over the last few weeks including: stews and casseroles lasagne Hot chocolate and fondues Rice pudding Sponge puddings I love putting my porridge oats and milk in it at night and waking up to a lovely breakfast for the whole family. The settings allow you to cook dishes on high, low and there is an auto setting for keeping food warm. The settings are very similar to other slow cookers I have had and seem to be quite standard. I find you can cook a pice of Brisket with vegetables in about 6 hours and the meat is succulent and tender. This product is fantastic, excellent value for money and does exactly what you would expect from any slow cooker; the fact that it looks pleasing to the eye and transfers well to the dining table is an added bonus.

Bought this as a replacement as my previous one broke, and use several times a week so needed a new one quickly, good price, my only critisism of this one is the dial knob came off, not secure at all, 2nd time i used it, managed to put it back on, good size for me and my husband, i use it for stews, soup, chilli, i even slow cook joints or beef and pork, cooks beautifully. Highly recommend, did read comment before purchase and was aware of possible issue with dial knob for temperature settings, but thought id risk it.

Loving the simplicity and ease of use of this slow cooker. Does a great job every time. Tend to use it for prep and go meals - i.e. nothing other than 15 minutes chopping and adding ingredients, put it in the pot, with no browning, pre-boiling or any other preparation, switch on low, leave for 8 hours - eat. Have recently done curries, beef in black bean sauce, cassoulet, straganoff, cataplana, bourguignon, even baked potatoes (5 hours rather than 8). Prefer not to make it more complicated than it needs to be - so don't [re-brown meats, or fry off onions, or pre-boil veg, just put it all in. Then non-stick pot is truly non-stick, and it all washes up so quick and easily. This have a new impetus to my cooking, especially as the ease and the results just make it such a great way to cook.

Really happy with my purchase. Used it twice and I am happy with the result. I would definitely recommend this slow cooker.

This is to replace my knackered one and it’s perfect when I used it last week. Try hard to find a cooker without ceramic pot which is heavy!!!

Very good quality as with all Andrew James products. Only issue I have is that the switch for temperatures isn’t very clear and could have had a better indicator
