Quality lock wire pliers, work well.

As with most tools, you get what you pay for. I had a cheap pair of Chiness pliers which worked OK for 18 months (used once or twice a month) but were a bit hard to lock on. They then fell apart. This pair is so much stronger and easier to use. Well worth the extra.

Excellent! When used on 32 thou locking wire, they just need a firm grip (quite hard one handed but easy two handed) to engage the locking catch. Once engage and when the silver knob at the end is pulled, they spin nicely, twizzling the wire. They're a good colour too!

High quality wire twisting plier at a competitive price.I used it a couple of times and I am very happy with the work that I have done.The only drawback of using this hand tool is that I find it very difficult to twist wires with a cross-sectional area that exceeds 1.2mm squared.

I was told about this product by an engineer friend who saw me trying to twist heavy duty armature wire by hand. A process that took ages and was uneven. Went straight to Amazon and bought one. As I'd never used one before i had to go online to find a video to make sure I was using it correctly. It works really well for my purposes. The only drawback for me, as a woman, is that I do not have sufficient hand strength to close and lock it with one hand. To operate it, you grip and close with one hand, and pull the locking mechanism down with the other hand. Mostly its fine, but I struggle to do it with the heavier gauge wires. Mind you, to be fair, its meant as a tool for burly airplane/motorbike mechanics. Overall, I'd say, I love the pliers and they are a tool I use a lot. I'd happily recommend them to anyone who needs to twist wires evenly and quickly.

250mmm from the tip of the jaws to the middle of the chrome effect plastic handle. 223mm from jaws to bottom of handles. Don’t know how long the chrome effect plastic handle will last, as it looks like it’s just bonded to the end of the spiral shaft. Disappointing considering there are similar twisting pliers (with plastic handles) for less than half the price! 😕

But the finish - blue - is in my opinion is poor. Out of the box the finish was already flaking; although it doesn`t affect the performance in anyway; can`t say I`m impressed. Haven`t returned as I needed the tool for immediate us, so I just wrapped some insulation tape around the area. Otherwise the tool does was it was intended to do.

Great feel, great grip and spring back. I’m totally satisfied.
