Why I buy these: I'm on a low calorie diet and these are both filling and tasty, I know they are normally used for weight training or for people who go to the gym but I dont use them that way. Even though they are 303 Calories a piece they are a filling treat, I normally have one a day excluding Saturdays which is my cheat day so a box like this normally lasts me two weeks.Texture and taste of this product: The texture of this product is soft and pliable, not the best description of something you want to eat by hey I'm trying. If your a texture person like I am you will love this. The taste is like that of a chocolate protein powder, thats essentially what it is, with big chunks of chocolate chips thrown in! Yum!Savings: Normally I would buy the cookies individually from my local shop at £1.50 a piece to get 12 it would cost me £18 however when I found out I could buy a box of 12 for £10.50 I was ecstatic. This saves me on average £7.50!In summary this purchase helps me in my keeping in control of my diet by being both yummy and filling cookies and helps in saving money. Great Find!

These are pretty good. much cheaper than protein bars like grenade but then they serve a slightly difference purpose I guess, well for me they do. i've axed protein bars like grenade as I can't keep up with the costs on top of everything else involved in a high protein, powerlifters diet and life style. But these are handy for breakfast if i don't wake up early enough to cook something. Lets face it, unless you are a professional athlete, you probably have to go to work, and sometimes I just can't bring myself to get up at 6am and go and fry a load of eggs and meat - and instead I would rather grab one of these and eat it in the car!I tend to eat these on weekdays, and proper breakfast on weekends when I have more time on my hands, subsequently I eat 2 boxes of these a month. I think the price is about right.the taste is fine - I actually quite like it and look forward to eating them.

Well, the title says all: the ingredients have changed (now more poliol for instance), and sadly the taste changed too. However, I still like them, and I still prefer these to many other products in their category. Why did they have to change the recipe i can't fathom, but if it was for "development", then I think it is clearly a step backward, and a prime example of the "don't fix it if it's not broken" principle.So, tastes less good, and slightly more poliols (hence a step down from 5 to 4 star in my book), but still a good option, still a good taste, and still a good product overall...if only they have left the recipe alone...

I've bought several types of protein bars and cookies from Amazon and MyProtein the last few months.The protein cookies I bought from MyProtein were OK, but a little on the dry side. In comparison, these cookies from SCI-MX are not as dry. I'd still recommend having them with a coffee or tea as they are dryer than a regular protein bar, but they're much tastier than the cookies from MyProtein.These cookies are cheaper too. They've been selling for £8.99 for 12. The retail price for the MyProtein cookies is £19.99 for 12, but even when you apply their discount you're normally about £14 a box.I'll definitely be buying more.I still recommend a protein bar if you're coming out the gym and on the move, but if you're sitting down with a coffee or tea, these are excellent.Recommended.

I spend a lot of protein bars every week, and these have to be the best value protein bars/ cookies I get. They don’t have the powdery texture of some cheaper bars and don’t pack in flavour. The chocolate chips really make these taste like the real thing. I find these cookies very satisfying and filling, they’re great for a snack before bed or after the gym. An interesting thing is I didn’t get protein bloating after these compared to some bars which have a lot of chemical gums in them. That was a real bonus!

For the amount of protein they pack into these, the fact that they remain edible is pretty astonishing. Unfortunately they do have an almost plasticy after taste which after a couple of weeks of eating them every day, just became too hard to stomach. I think if you're really dedicated then these are great way of getting additional protein I to your diet with relatively few calories, but if you're not I'd be pretty surprised if you weren't eventually put off by the flavour.

Ok...so I a HUGE Lenny and Larrys cookie fan...but as these are over half the price I thought I'd see what they were like. They aren't quite Lenny and Larrys but for the price I'm really not complaining. Despite these they are still really nice...a soft bake texture...not sickly sweet and packed with protein. Sugar is a bit on the high side but I don't eat sugar in anything else so for me this is fine. I bought my first box just over a week ago and I'm about to purchase my second box! I'd say definitely give them a try!

Fantastic stuff as long as they keep the price closer to one pound each.Tasty enough but not so much as to eat them all at once.Just what you need for a protein snack.PUT THE PRICE BACK DOWN and I'll buy you out.For those that complain about taste go and buy some of the other junk out there.IT'S NOT A COOKIE! You can buy cookies for a heck of a lot less than this.Get over yourself and go back to the gym.
