The game is great and a ton of fun. Pokémon finally made it to the 21st century in terms of gameplay and world design. It has the best storyline of any Pokémon game. Period. However, don’t buy the digital version from Amazon. It’s more expensive (for some reason Amazon charges tax in Florida for digital purchases, but Nintendo doesn’t) and you don’t get the early purchase bonus items.

My son doesn’t really care if the cards are fake or not at this point. Sometimes buying these online is hit or miss. This one was a hit.

Games is really fun after you get the idea of what you’re supposed to be doing, has a lot of end game content unlike most other Pokémon games. Loses a star because this game runs horrible and some of the designs are wacky. Don’t know how this made it through to release.

The whole point of a digital purchase is to have the item right away. If you are buying a digital copy and don’t want to wait around several hours for your code to appear your best bet is to buy from Nintendo eShop. 5 stars for the game though
