Perfect for carry on, even on restrictive airlines
I recently had a trip to Mexico that included taking some very budget airlines for in country flights. Those airlines had very restrictive carry on policies, so a normal roller bag would have been an issue. I bought this to get around that, and it quickly became a favorite bag of mine. I was able to stuff so much clothes and other things in here, with the compression straps keeping it smaller that it felt like it should be. The rolling was super smooth, even over the very bad sidewalks we found in various parts of Mexico. And it stood up without being tippy, no matter how much stuff I had in there. As for the backpack portion, I do wish the straps were removable so I could save on weight, but they are nicely zippered away so they don't get in the way at all.

Look no further! This is the best rolling backpack for carry-on.
I spent hours reading reviews and searching for a good quality rolling backpack. This is the one I settled on. Sure, it costs more than the cheaper sub one hundred dollar rolling backpacks, but a wheel or a strap will not break on you in the middle of your vacation. I like how it has basically just one large compartment and a few small pockets. I don’t want the main compartment to be divided with a bunch of smaller compartments. It’s regulation size for carry-on. It has a great warranty. It’s very comfortable as a backpack, it even has a good quality waist belt. I previously traveled with just a backpack. I’m getting older and I don’t want that weight on my back while I’m waiting in long lines. I can now roll when convenient and carry as a backpack when I should not be rolling. I weighed mine at 5.80 pounds, a bit more than advertised.

A Very Useful Duffel for Up to 10 days Travel
I purchased this item recently and just returned from my first round trip airline travel. The space available for items is very adequate for a 10 day trip. The internal straps are helpful to stabilize the inner load, but the rail portion of the handle runs the length of the inside of the pack does reduce the amount of available packing space. The outer material held up without even a mark in baggage check with a luggage transfer in both directions at DFW, where I have had other bags badly damaged. All in all a very practical purchase, as it is quite light empty and rolls easily with its larger wheels when fully packed. A lock can be used for the zipper, which works smoothly. My current challenge is to see whether this bag is large enough for two weeks in Asia at the end of 2024. Using compression packs, I believe it will be adequate for my belongings, but not have enough space to bring back any souvenirs. A slightly larger size (85L) in the identical design would be perfect.

Pretty good bag
This bag is well made, looks nice, and convenient for 3-5 day trips, although I have used this bag on a 10 day trip overseas. Worked for me since I pack minimally. The interior is smaller than a standard carry-on roller bag. Pros: Rolls smooth Easy to convert to a back pack Light weight (when empty) Good quality Cons: High price

Best Travel Bag for Europe!
We went on a two week trip to Europe and this bag was PERFECT! We did a lot of research on these type of bags before we purchased and we made a great decision. This bag has so much storage and many zippers and extra pouches to keep items organized and accessible. We loved using this bag as a backpack when traveling down some cobblestone streets. it is comfortable on your back with padded straps and a chest strap to keep it stable. We used the wheels and handle throughout the airports and train stations. The wheels are such a great quality and the handle is very comfortable to hold and it is easy to maneuver. Would buy these bags over and over again!

Nice looking, good quality travel pack
Very light, huge space to pack for our 4 week trip. the belt could be more padded but it will do especially since it has a handle and wheels to use in the airport.

Great for my adventures
Gave the bag a good 2 weeks all over Germany and it performed great. Sturdy and convenient; with lots of features that make it stand out, whether being wheeled or carried, or as a backpack. Will be using it for many future adventures. My adult children kidded me that a 63 year old would use an Osprey, but they didn’t know what this boomer did 40 years ago…

Perfect size bag for one bag carry
Very good quality. A lot of room. Easy to carry or roll. Well worth the price paid.

Heel toegankelijke grote bergruimte.

Schöner Osprey Rucksack in gewohnt guter Qualität.

I purchased this back pack with wheels after giving up my 45 L carry pack. It is spacious and the wheels, back pack work well. One small issue, compared to my other pack, it has multiple compartments, and two craftily hidden zippered one for money storage. Osprey needs to incorporate such to make the oack multidimensional, and thus better suited fir travels. Regards, British
