mankk Air Pressure Switch 90-120 PSI Thread 1/8" NPT 24V 12V DC Air Compressor Pressure Switch for Air Horn Train 90-120-1/8" NPT-BK

My 2 gallon Campbell Hausfeld air compressor, model FP2090 and purchased around 2014, would not shut off after reaching the maximum pressure of 110 psi. It would cause the safety valve to suddenly release all of the pressure, so after googling the problem I learned it was probably the pressure switch. The OEM part number for the pressure switch is FP209530AV and is no longer available according to multiple parts websites. So I had to match the on/off specs and thread size, and this part matched. I installed it this morning and the compressor now shuts off again. I removed/installed the old/new switches with a 27 mm metric deep socket. The price was a fifth to a third of what other sellers across the web are asking and made it reasonable to purchase in case the switch was not the problem.

My old pressure switch was faulty and would not shut off the compressor in my brake buddy. This compact switch solved my issue.

Replaced the sensor on my Kobalt 1.8 HP black compressor from Lowe's. It took 3 cycles for the switch to work as intended, but it seems to do just fine now. I did also put a layer of Teflon tape on the thread just in case. I read some other posts where it was leaking air. This one does not. Also make sure to empty any water or moisture build-up from your tank!
