VIVOSUN LumaLight 100W LED Grow Light, Full Spectrum Plant Light, Smart Dimmable & High PPFD for Indoor Plants Seedling Vegetables Bloom, Fits 2×2/2×4 Grow Tents

This is the second unit I purchased of these, not because the 1st broke or anything bad happened, but because we love the 1st one so much we wanted to add a second. If you are into seed starting or growing things indoors, then these lights rock. Well worth the price, quality made, and they are so bright you will need to wear the included green glasses. It was super easy to set up, and the different hanging attachments were so handy to have, so you can adjust as your plants grow.

Great light. Been in constant use 2 years. The hanging ropes malfunction often to the point of no good. I purchased 2 new sets to replace them. But the lights work well to grow my plants nicely. Comes w safety glasses for close up working w plants. Never used the glasses cause I don’t look into bright light.

Simple to use, but does NOT work with GrowHub as advertised, so had to return it. I tried every recommended adapter and configuration. Tried the VS YouTube video as well. Additionally, not compatible with the VIVOSUN Aerolight series of lights.

Very good light for the price. Got me through two grow seasons without any light loss. If you want something affordable, this is in the top 3 for its price range. Being able to daisy chain it with other lights is definitely a plus.

I am using this for my potted citrus trees and sprouts. It's working well so far. It's only been about a month or so. The set up was easy. It's very easy to use. It does give off some heat, which is nice during colder months which is a random plus. It's not a lot of heat though. The controls on the side come with different % of light level you want to use. There is an ability to use it remotely but I did not do that. It was easier for me to use a Smart Plug instead to turn it on and off. Basically no noise. It feels sturdy when holding it and hanging it up. I believe it's only 1 color option. I do not notice any crazy change in my power bill with this either. You do need to keep in mind that when putting your plants inside from outside that you'll need MORE light time. Maybe do a 12-16 hour on and 6-8 hours off.

Very bright.....enjoy the versatility of operation through the controller.

Settled on this light after browsing several small quantum boards. Will be using one for the vivosun triangle tent, odd-shaped but =2x2 in terms of square footage. Could probably get away with one in a 3x3 or 2x4 tent for vegging only, although that'd be pushing it. Can't really beat it though -- very solid hangers and build quality. Silent, dimmable driver (3 settings, the 50% is dim enough that I can keep the window on my tent open and not be blinded hanging out near it. Legit (one assumes) Samsung LM301 diodes, a decent warranty... Really nice entry to the quantum board market by Vivosun. I hope keep aiming for high build quality and good design like this, it really shows that they made an effort here vs many other overseas brands. Only gripes if I had any are A) I'm not sure on the diode count, these may be running more current through each chip than some other QB's, which could shorten lifespan vs brands with more chips per watt. But I don't know how many they use so maybe it's pretty standard. And B) The provided sunglasses are green, which are great for blurple LEDs (they counteract the color so your plants look like they're under white light)... but for full-spectrum LED lights like this, local grow gurus tell me you ought to use blue-tint glasses like people use for MH/CMH, because the spectrum is actually way closer to those. Regardless of those little points though, great lights and maybe a new high mark for Vivosun. Don't wait when they restock.

.... and that other one is the upgraded Vivsun AeroLight with the fan in it. I bought this on the recommendation of Jordan Mara of the YouTube Channel 'Mind and Soil'. Jordan tested 5 different grow lights from $15 grow lights to a professional quality light that was nearly twice the price of the Vivosun VS1000. The Vivosun came out on top for the sturdiness and quality of the seedlings. Take note though that this light can provide enough light in the correct wavelengths to grow right up to flowering of fruiting. I Planted my seeds a week ago and the plants are just showing. I set mine up yesterday hanging below a clothes dryer frame, over two seedling trays. It comes with a hanging bar and two very clever height adjustment clips. Press the button to lower, pull the cord to raise. There is a rotary dial for light intensity, 25%, 50%, 75%, and off OFF. The light units can be linked together on a network and they can be operated by a controller. Mine is a single light on a manual timer set for 15 hours of light per day. It is BRIGHT, just like sunlight, and the true colour of a sunny day! My seedlings are looking good and not drawing to the window as they have in previous years. I think it is a great light and will improve my plants. Incidentally, the fan in the upgraded Vivosun light provides 'breeze stimulation' which strengthens the stems. I am very pleased with it.
