Beautiful. I did have one saucer broke when it came in. Still using 3 years later with no issue!

I like the dishes as far as weight and pattern. They look really good. I was very excited with my purchase. Until today when one of salad bowls got chipped. If I had smacked it hard or dropped it I wouldn't be complaining. I barely touched it to another dish and it put a chip in my howl rendering it unusable. I was disappointed. However, the seller upon learning of what happened immediately sent me a replacement. I couldn't be happier!!

When I first got this set, I fell IN LOVE. It was perfect, delivery was great except for one small chip, but wasn’t a big deal. But now I’m dealing with MOLD on the bottom of my bowls. And now seeing that others are dealing with this, it’s gross. I let my plates dry on the dry rack for 24 hours or more. There’s no way it’s because we’re not drying enough.

We really love the color and durability, weight of these dishes. However, the bottom of all the dishes seem to leave a 'sweat' ring on tables and counters when hot food is placed on them. It's a little annoying on the counters and very annoying on the wood table. I'm planning to seal the bottoms of each dish in the hopes that will solve the 'sweat' ring issue. other than that, we have been happy with the dishes.

I wish I could love these dishes. They're so pretty, and bring an elegant, modern feel to our table. They help every meal's presentation feel a bit artistic -- how fun! I felt like we'd finally become "adults" with this gorgeous set, after upgrading from IKEA plates. But what they bring in beauty they lack in durability, safety, and ease of use. They're brittle. Your gorgeous dishes don't look so beautiful anymore when they show noticeable chips. Ours have accumulated 5 chips in just 5 months. And not because we've played baseball with them. One chipped when I gently lowered it into our dishwasher and bumped something. Another chipped from a utensil. Another when it grazed the edge of our kitchen counter. They get super hot. I've burned my hand several times when taking them out of the microwave. Ironically, the food on top can be cool or only luke warm while the plate absorbs all the heat! This means we have to heat everything for longer, and use towels or gloves to handle dishes. It's all a pain -- sometimes literally as we tend to a burned fingers. The dishes' bottom ring is unfinished, meaning water can easily enter. Apparently, the porous stoneware quickly absorbs water through that ring, allowing the dish to heat up faster than the food that sits atop because the plate's edges extend farther outward. And they stain our table. We've been shocked how within seconds, EVEN A ROOM-TEMPERATURE DISH has left moisture and heat rings on our wood table. This happens even when we serve food family style. Somehow the dishes absorb water and heat and transfer it to the table. So we've introduced mats and plate-sized cork coasters, or sometimes a tablecloth, to preserve the table. Again, inconvenient, and not the most aesthetic look. I'm still giving these dishes 3 stars because they are beautiful (at least, the ones without chips). Used with care, they can add a special elegant look that feels modern and earthy all at once. But I can't ignore my burned fingers, damaged table, and chipped stoneware. Our cheap IKEA plates might have felt a bit like college. But frankly, they've also lasted since college! These Vancasso dishes are beautiful at first, but the honeymoon quickly wears off. They're like your high-maintenance family member who you'll always love but wouldn't want to host in your home. I'll be in the market soon for a new set. But I won't buy Vicasso dishes again.

I was very excited to receive my dinner set for six. However one of my pasta/soup bowls had a crack and I contacted Vancasso’s customer service and they quickly replaced it. No hassle and no issues. Very professional customer service. Thank you!! The set is so beautifully designed with the hand painted spirals pattern. It’s very smooth to the touch and so easy to clean. I was so impressed with the quality that I ordered three more sets! They are really made we’ll and designed beautifully. You can’t go wrong with these! I would definitely recommend this set.

Received my order today and I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this dinnerware set. Not too heavy, not too light and love the two different sizes of bowls. Did have a very small chip in one of the saucers (as seen in the photo), but the rest of the set was in perfect condition. Was surprised to see any damage, as it was packaged very well.

We bought two sets of the bonbon beige swirl dishes right before Thanksgiving last year since it was our first time hosting. Within days two of the large plates were already chipped, and now seven months out almost every single large plate we have has a chip as well as a few other dishes from the sets. In addition, these dishes, get very hot in the microwave and tend to leave wet rings on our wood table. Maybe I’ve never had this type of dish before, but I am very dissatisfied and can’t find a way, that I can see, to contact the seller on Amazon. I’d stay away from these. The only reason I didn’t give one star is because they do look nice visually. Too bad they aren’t better quality!

My dining table became much more beautiful with them. The color and design are very nice. My shipment arrived without any problems. The bowls were a little too high.

Bought a beige set, meaning that base is a light beige with a spiral pattern in light grey. Perfectly fine so far. The spiral pattern is drawn with perfect symmetry. This implies to me that the plate is machine manufactured with machine perfect detailing. In order to make the set look 'hand painted', some guy at the plate factory dipped a brush in black paint and sprayed random black dots on the plates. An obvious attempt to make it look 'hand made'. It simply does not look realistic. Fraudulent goods according to me. Will return and stay away from the vancasso brand from now on.
