Yes, this is indeed waxed thread.. but on a serious note, it’s excellent quality. I use this thread for my leatherwork and am consistently impressed by its strength and durability. While I still run it through a bar of wax for an extra touch, it’s already very reliable as is. I highly recommend it to anyone working with leather who needs a tough, dependable thread.

Good waxes thread, a little darker than expected.

The thread looks good. However no instructions and I could see no way to find the end of the thread. I returned it.

I ordered Black and got sent brown - thread looks okay though not what i wanted

Thick and strong. Suitable for industrial sewing machines. Very durable and good for heavy duty projects. Nice wax coating on the thread to make it easier to use on machines and to give a smooth finishing look. It was a fair price and worth it if needed for designing. It functions as it should, with it being strong and durable for heavy duty management. Good buy. The only reason i gave it a 3 star is because it is not recommended for home use sewing machines.
