I love Prism kites and the quality. It may seem like a lot of money to spend on a kite but these will last for years. This kite is very easy to assemble and disassemble. The bottom of the center pole, called the spine, there is a Velcro strap. Ensure this is pulled very tight when assembling. My only complaint is that there should be a T-bar at the bottom to help hold this pole in place, but if it is tight, you will not have any issues. The kite comes with string and a small hand winder. If you plan to fly the kite often, I recommend a winder such as this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CQ8HGCR3. This kite, when flying is very active. It will maneuver around in the wind making it fun to fly. If you are looking for a high quality single string kite that will last for years try this one out!

As a kid I flew kites everyday from age 6-14 now I have daughter age 6 I can share that same experience my dad showed me. Thanks guys. My city is not the windiest so I may purchase something that works at 5km/h in the future.

I'm creating a Sail - Kite apparatus to pull a Sea Kayak through open water. This kite purchased will be a lead kite for a larger kite, both tethered to a kayak in line. The larger kite initially will be mounted on the kayak as a Sail then the smaller kite will pull the Sail - Kite away from the kayak and both will then fly 50 or more metres about sea level in high winds.
