This alarm is great! It is the perfect size; it is not so small that you can't grab it, yet is not so large to make it stand out. You can grip it pretty easily with one hand and pull it away from the clip. The clip comes out with a tug and is neither too easy to pull out or too difficult. Highly unlikely that you will pull the clip out accidentally, but it isn't difficult to pull it out when you need to. I bought this because it came with a strap to wear around your neck and I was surprised to see it also came with a Carabiner in case you wanted to clip it onto something instead. I am purchasing more for friends and family. I just bought another in the rose gold for my niece, and I like that you can choose different colors to personalize it. 130 decibels is LOUD, it not only startles someone but it also hurts! To compare, 150 decibels will repture your ear drum. It's loud enough to encourage someone not to stick around because it's painful and attention getting!

This device definitely makes me feel safer. The alarm is easy to activate and packs a punch when it comes to the sound it emits! I was impressed by the quality. When I tested it out, my ear drums were pounding. There is no way anyone in the same area could not hear this thing go off. I think it might actually be louder than my car alarm lol! I purchased the black version. The black finish is very grippable, which made it easier to detach the pin for activation. The alarm comes with a lanyard and a carabiner - so you can wear it or attach it to your purse or keys.

I purchased 3 of these for family because of a huge influx of crime (car jackings, assault, armed robbery, home invasions - to the point the police parked a mobile command center in the middle of the community). They are loud, BUT it is only loud enough to be an attention-getter. If you point the speaker at the attacker and hold it that way within 2 or 3 feet of the attacker, it would make their head throb and ears hurt, but other than pointing it at them from close range, it's just a loud notification. I asked my wife to let me know how much she is able to hear from inside when I activated it by my car in front of the house (about 30ft away from the house), and she said she definitely heard it but only because she was listening for it, and that it most likely would not have gotten her attention normally. She said the volume is similar to a car alarm from her perspective, inside the house. Better than nothing, but not quite what I'm looking for. It technically works as advertised though.

This alarm is not loud at all. An attacker would laugh at you if you set this off. I plan to return it.

I bought this for my sister as she is starting her first semester of college. I wanted to get her one of these keychain alarms (along with pepper spray, but that's for another review), but I hated how every other one looked. Every other one has an obnoxious Easter egg look to them that looks hideous. This is a very easy- to- use product. You put it on your key chain, pull the whole thing off of the D- ring part, and then put it back when you need to. Also, the sound is very loud and audible. I am glad that I bought this for her. She is too, but I'm the one writing the review here.

Nice, compact, and loud, but needs to have a hook, or I or some sort of attachment on both sections so that it can be used as a door alarm as well as a personal alarm. I use them on my motorcycle so that if anyone moves it, it sets off the alarm. I glued a piece of Velcro to the fob end to hold it in place. .

It makes me feel safe and hopefully I don’t have to use it in the future. I tested and it’s loud. But I don’t know if that’s the right volume to get people attention especially in the morning or in the crowded places. However, easy to use and work perfectly.

Looks simple, fashionable, and solid. We tried it out. It made a loud noise. We had on ear phones to block some of the sound, so it wasn't deafening to us. Probably a lot louder without the earphones. I like the solid look of it. Not plastic and especially liked the carbiner and the lanyard to go with it. They are quality items also.
