I have been using tape for years & then recently switched to the headband. I found I was always very self-conscious with the headband because it would slip ALOT. Just got this last night & tried flipping my head all over the place to see if it would slip or fall off. NO MOVEMENT AT ALL! It’s awesome!! Highly recommended!

It really does work!!! I had tried 3 different types of wig holders and none worked (I have a small head). I bought this and it is amazing! I was recently in a hospital overnight and slept in it. It stayed on! Highly recommend.

I’m new to the world of wigs; so about a year ago I became the creator/organizer of the Mrs. Roper Romp & Caftan Crawl in Los Angeles • Santa Monica. (If you don’t know about the Mrs. Roper events, Google it! We’ve been on GMA, NPR, & in The NY Times! We have chapters internationally too.) As part of our events, we all wear caftans/muumuus and bright red wigs like Mrs. Roper did on the tv classic, Three’s Company. Initially, for the first 2 events I hosted, I wore a cheap, $8 wig I had purchased off Amazon. Underneath the wig, I had the standard issue fishnet stocking cap thing that came with the wig. Omg, y’all. What a nightmare! It honestly felt like I had lice…as in, the kind you get in elementary school that consumes your whole head and the school nurse immediately calls your mom to come and pick you up. (Note: I didn’t actually have lice, this was simply the result of a cheap wig and sweaty head.) Anyway, because your girl here is ballin’ on a budget, I couldn’t afford to buy a high-end wig — which I hear makes a huge difference — so I started researching something that would help my itchy/sweaty issue & bam! I came across this small but mighty bit of fabric that I truly consider to be a bit of sorcery and magic)…that’s how well it works! The first time I wore it, I managed to go 9+ hours without so much as a single itch to scratch. And better yet, it held my wig in place the entire time — no bobby pins needed! I’ve now worn it 3 times and have officially decided I want to be buried with it as well! 😂 Yet another selling point is that it holds alllllllll of my hair comfortably. I didn’t need to use hair spray or anything else, it just magically keeps it all in place. Now, for reference: my mane isn’t thick, but there’s def a ton of it, with the length being halfway down my back. So being able to get all that into a little cap requires something heavy duty! Overall, I’ve worn it 3 different times and literally the only “negative” thing is that I LOST IT after our event last week. So that negative thing is 100% a “me problem” and not that of the product. Clearly, I need to attach a string between my wig & this cap so that doesn’t happen again. 😂 I have high hopes that somewhere in Santa Monica, someone found this magical item and has been able to enjoy it as much as I did. Obviously, I purchased a new one immediately — though, it’s a slightly different version (same company), so I’ll be leaving a review once I wear it. PS: I believe in this product so much that I posted all about it in one of the FB groups dedicated to Mrs. Roper events — there are more than 64,000 members in that group alone, so clearly, I LOVE THIS THING!

I am a satisfied user of the Milano WigGrip, so I was pretty excited when they came out with a model that has a durable built in cap. After a week of full time use, I have to say I wish I'd have saved my money. I mean I will use it, but it has a few drawbacks compared to the plain WigGrip: The band isn't quite so adjustable, and I have a smaller head, so I always end up with either the velcro or tag rubbing on my ear. I hate that! The graduated construction of the band means I can't reposition it quite how I'd like to alleviate that problem. Once covered by my wig there is just an uncomfortable thickness behind my ear. The seams in the cap are placed awkwardly and are always off-center, which while a cosmetic annoyance is still an annoyance. Did I mention my head is small? Let me be specific. I have petite-average circumference but my head is not deep. The cap has way too much room in it for me. I am sure they were thinking of people with hair in adding extra room, but it would be nice if they'd make a smaller size for those of us with little or no hair. The band itself seems a little thicker than my existing WigGrips. Maybe the nap will flatten with time, but for now it's causing me issues with lace fronts not laying flat. The price. Way, way overpriced! If I hadn't have received a gift card I would not have made the purchase. I won't be buying it again. UPDATE: After a month of use, I'm pretty happy with the Grip Cap. Issues aside, it continues to be completely odor free (and I haven't laundered yet), is comfortable, and does a good job of holding my wigs in place. I'm buying another - but still wish the price were a little more reasonable, and that a lighter nude color was available so I don't show a tan "scalp" through my monofilament. The upside is I don't have to buzz my remaining bio hair nearly so often, because the opacity of this cap system is good. Again, leaving this at 4 stars due to cost.

I'd love this cap. It is very comfortable and does not pull your hair.

This wig grips does hold the wig secure, however it is slightly hot on the head. I do recommend if you want wig to feel secured.

This is the most secure way to wear a wig, and with the addition of the cap material, makes it fantastic for winter and colder months or for wearers that may have extremely fine/thin hair or balding as this would make the wig so much more comfortable. I never worried about my wig being secure because the material grips the wig material almost creating a Velcro like effect, locking that wig in! Adjustable size is great, so it fit my very petite head. I have this in both the brown and the lighter nude color, both are fantastic. The only wig cap I trust!

Update: I just ordered 2 more. I purchased it with my own Coins. These work great for me. My wigs and scarfs are not going anywhere. Does not slide like other companies. Still in love with them. First purchased in 2018. WOW, all I can say is I love this grip cap. I go to Yoga and wear a headscarf which always slips off. When I wore this grip cap and let me tell you this cap did not fall off. Just Amazing. I even tried to intentionally pull it off to no avail. I also told one of my yoga classmates and she loves it too. She wears her wig to class and it would slip off. Now it stays put. She even tried to intentionally pull it off too and it stayed put. I also love the color of the brown cap. I also love the material. It is so light. I also love the fit. I was worried it was going to be big. However, it fits snugly. Also to if you have a big, it is big head friendly too. It does not move or slide around. It stays in the same place the whole time it is on your head. Hours after you put it on. With all my wigs I was using the elastic band method. As most of you wig wearers know is the wig still would move or the elastic would eventually stretch out making the wig big again. Now I can cut out all the bands and just use the wig grip just makes it so secure and you do not have to worry about it falling off. Best purchase that I have made in a long time. Something so simple is so valuable. It is worth the price and more. Just do not pass on it. Update: Purchased August 2018. Now it is July 2019 and I am still using the same wig grip. It is getting a little ratty however still gripping and that is all that matters.
