It worked beautifully
My contractor installed a plastic check valve, which failed after about 3 months of use. Ordered this one but installed another plastic one while I waited for it to arrive. It arrived and the new plastic valve failed... weird. But installed the brass one and it is working great.

1 1/4-Inch In-Line Check Valve installed in basement sink pump
It looked like decent quality and I was sure it would work well, which it did for 2 weeks, but then it failed to hold the water back so that the pump would cycle constantly.

Threads cut too deep. Leaks.
Either not npt or threads cut too deep. Tried different fittings and sealers and still under the well pressure it leaks a drip per minute or so.I needed a short check valve but this I would not recommend to anyone.
