This is the best bang for your buck lighter. It's all metal and will last you a long time. People have been giving it a negative rating for bad reasons-they don't know how to fill the tank properly, it arrived damaged or the product is leaking and is dangerous, the lighter is not lighting or it takes a few clicks to get it to light. Let me clarify why these are not valid reasons to give it 1 star. First off in order to refill it you need to let the pressure inside out first before putting in your butane cannister. This is in the manual. Second the nozzle of the cannister needs to be inserted properly into the filling chamber. Most butane cans have a small nozzle adapter included. If the nozzle isn't properly aligned it's obviously going to leak. What I did was put in the adapter inside the filling chamber before putting the cannister with the standard nozzle. Others have also said there are butane leaks and it's dangerous. There are no leaks if done properly. Yes the flame still lights up after you click off but it's very brief and lasts less than 1 second. Lastly, if it's only lighting for a few seconds you need to adjust the flame higher at the bottom of the lighter. If you have yours at a low setting that's not enough butane to keep the flame going. Adjust it higher If you get a dud or is damaged then return it and get a new one, amazon returns are easy and free. This lighter is rated 4.5 stars. Usually this is a great indicator of whether a product on Amazon is solid or not. In which case it is. The lighter is of great quality and it works perfectly fine.

Awesome lighter that actually lasts for an everyday carry unit. Only lighter I've had to go to the magic one year mark and beyond. The finish looks better as it ages.

I really liked the lighter. It worked well for 6 months before falling apart. I won't lie, it got dropped many times, but I still expected it to last longer than that. Overall it was a great lighter for the price. Very easy to use while driving because you can tell by feel which side is up and where the flame is.

Love this lighter. It holds more fluid than most others the same size.. it is easy to fill, adjust the flame and to lite with feeling awkward or clumsy. It is solid and lite weight for its size. I have bought several of these and have them out as gifts, and people really love them. Even my 85yo mom who has arthritis in her hands told me that she uses it all the time to light her candles and start her fireplace without the discomfort she gets from other lighters.. a great product all around

It's a nice lighter. Reliable ignition, even at altitude, with Xikar High Performance butane. Does well lighting a cigar and makes it easy to get an even burn. The cutter is sharp and easy to use. The concave shape works well as a cigar rest. The fuel window is a bit difficult to really read, but does a good job of at least showing that there is fuel in the lighter or not. The only complaint I have is that the nickel coating makes it look a little cheap. And the burner cap does rattle a little. These are really only complaints though because this lighter punches way above its price point and the tiny bit of cap rattle and finish look just barely remind you this isn't a $100 lighter.

Acceptable lighter for the money, easy to use but drains butane quickly even on low flame settings. Not by any means a great lighter, acceptable at best!

I have had this lighter for over a year and a half and it is literally the best lighter I have ever ever had in my entire life. Also, the lighter I have had the longest ever. It lasts a very long time between butane fills. It has been dropped on concrete multiple times as well as ran over by a truck and still works beautifully. I would absolutely purchase this item again and again whenever needed.

I bought this to use while snowmobiling to light fires in the stoves that are in warm up shelters. Seems well built and has a great torch and worked very well. Well done.

As far as EDC lighters you cannot get better! This eclipses any other "High Brow" lighter I have...legitimately! Watch the video! I have bought 2 of these so far and I plan to get another 2! Size is perfect, also functions as a very hand fidget toy! You can literally roll it around your hand and flick the ends open like a spinning pen! Weight is 105g, so it does have some solid weight to it! Build materials on both are WAAAAYYYYY above what you would expect! Very nice snap on the light, never really had a fail to light unless there was something blocking a jet. Can be a pain the the backside to fill, the tank has some kind of dividing walls, but you fill it, it looks full, then you flip it on its head one time and its only 1/4 full......so, fill, rock it, fill, rock it etc until it is actually full. Capacity is brilliant, i probably get 2 weeks out of a tank with medium usage (continuously burning to light for 15-20 seconds 3-4 times a day). Definately worth the money, 100% every day carry proof, it's no show pony, and i definately will get another few while they are cheap!

A couple of weeks of constant use and seems to be doing well. It’s durability seems ok for the price, but I wouldn’t go throwing it around. Can’t say how long between re-fills you’d get as this would depend, but it’s been nearly 2 weeks of average use for me and it hasn’t indicated a refil quite yet. Can confidently recommend as a neat handy jet flame lighter.
