Gahring Machine Forced Entry Aluminum Wedge 6061-T6

This is very nice wedge at a great price, and it's Made in America! It's nicely milled with no burrs and a smooth finish, and it needed no alteration to be put into service. I've used it several times so far and it is holding up without any signs of deterioration, so I expect it to last a long while. It fits nicely on my helmet using a helmet band, and the included bungee makes a perfect fit for pairing with a Halligan bar. Many of my coworkers were impressed and have since added this to their gear.

Used for Fire department. A must for entry.

Forced a couple doors with this and it is holding up well so far! American made, and a tool I am happy to have in my turnout gear!

Does the job but packing is awful, hope they can improve

Only had it a few months and it’s already come in handy for forcible entry as well as an elevator rescue. I’m one of those guys that keeps it on their helmet and it’s pretty lightweight and doesn’t feel weird being on your head. Just be cautious the edge is razor sharp
