Bell Custom 500 Open-Face Motorcycle Helmet

Too thigh, running small. I returned and will buy a large.

My first 3/4 helmet. I usually rock the full face but now that I'm on a Harley I wanted something that felt a little more free. This helmet feels a lot cooler than a full. As expected it is noisier but nothing crazy. Also I like how it's a different shell for all the sizes so it doesn't look like a mushroom head. I definitely recommend this. A great bang for your buck.

Had to order a Large size for my husband, as the Medium size was slightly too small. We ordered the Medium, because the measurement of his head fell within the range for that size, according to the size guide. Will be keeping the Medium size helmet for me. Otherwise, the helmet arrived one day earlier, than originally estimated. BELL is a great and reputable brand, and we know we will be properly protected during our rides.

My mistake for not questioning where Bell now manufactures helmets (China). Doesn't fit like the older Custom 500 made in USA. Chinese must have smaller heads. Seller is 5 star and helmet was shipped promptly.

I wear a medium in Biltwell, Medium in Daytona, Medium in Fly, Medium in every helmet I have tried on.... except this Bell. The medium was too small and had terrible pressure points. I’ve never tried on an uncomfortable helmet until this one. It is a good looking helmet, but I much prefer the Fly .38 for fit and quality. I wouldn’t consider either of these “low profile” though. Good luck if you are searching for the retro 3/4 non-bobble head helmet.

Did not fit when going by the chart provided by the manufacture. Go to the store and try it there, don’t order online. The return policy is worthless as you’ll pay a restocking fee. They will find something wrong with it just to avoid loosing money.
