THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS is the breakthrough album that catapulted David Bowie into the international spotlight. Over the past 50 years it has remained a touchstone record, growing in stature with each passing year. It is now ingrained in popular culture, its undeniable influence spanning musicians from Arcade Fire to Lady Gaga, to Harry Styles’s androgynous fashion sense to Noel Fielding’s shirts on The Great British Bake-Off to Ziggy make-up challenges on Tik-Tok. -On 17th June, 2022, 50 years and one day after the original U.K. release date, THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS will be issued as a limited edition 50th anniversary half speed mastered LP and a picture disc, featuring the same master and a replica promotional poster for the album. Review: David Bowie. - It's one of his best albums. Sounds great, happy it doesn't sound weird like all the new albums do. It's not my fault I listen to music that's three times my age Review: A timeless album that belongs in any vinyl collection - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars by David Bowie is an absolute classic and one of those records that never fails to impress. The songs are iconic from start to finish, and the album flows perfectly as a complete listen. It’s creative, theatrical, and endlessly replayable. Tracks like “Starman” and “Ziggy Stardust” always grab attention, even from people who might not be familiar with the album. This is also one of my go-to records when I have guests over. It’s engaging without being distracting and always sparks conversation once it’s spinning. A timeless album that belongs in any vinyl collection, and an easy recommendation on vinyl for both longtime fans and first-time listeners.

Good pressing
Overall great pressing, sound is good. Now I have Dsd digital file version of this, and it sounds better. This album was apparently taken from a 192 khz original file. To me, it sounds a bit thin, especially in the bass. At times it sounds open but not consistent. That being said, if you are not comparing to an original album or the dsd equivalent, you will be happy. For the money, you cannot ask for more.

Fantastic pressing!
Very impressive remastering, just great! Vinyl is very clean and quality. Sound is fantastic, I’m super impressed. Listening to side 1 with some volume and you will stoked, incredibly crisp and clean highs really impress. Bass is also clean and solid. A must buy!

Fantastic pressing, poor packaging
A great release of this legendary album. I'm very happy with the sound quality, stereo separation, low end, high end, etc. It's all fantastic. And the album itself is one of my all time favorites. However I have to deduct a star due to the lackluster packaging. I don't fully understand how so care was taken to make this pressing sound great, only to ship it in a cheap brittle paper sleeve. When I removed the record from its sleeve for the first time, it was totally covered in various sizes of paper chunks. I think most of this paper came from the sleeve already separating on the side (on a new never opened record). Nothing a bit of cleaning couldn't fix, but it's regrettable that this great pressing was packaged so carelessly.
