Awful device & required subscription service
Not at all as advertised. This device barely worked, also you have to subscribe to pretty pricey service plan. Which if you decide you do not like, want or need is NON-REFUNDABLE after only 10 days. Idk about the rest of you but for me & my family life happens. Plenty of things can happen or change causing one to change their mind, need to cancel a service, &/or simply just no longer need a device they maybe once did… That being said i did cancle within the ten days. I returned the device (i purchased through amazon mind you) i was refunded the money for the device & then was told i would have to wait 60 to 90 days for a refund of my nearly $400. Dollars for a subscription service that never worked, i only had for 5 days, & this service had the awfulest customer support i think i have ever experienced. Bottom line this device, & the subscription service that connects it is not at all senior friendly or at all efficient. I would not recommend this device to my worst enemy.

The Bests of the Best…
What is the most important part of dealing with a business is the service they provide, and I place Seculife at the top of that list. First, their product SOS Watch is outstanding, it is perfect for someone you provide care for. It’s easy to call, track and allows you to know when and where your loved one is. I highly recommend it…

Good Device Poor Business Ethics
We recently purchased this for our father. He came home to live with us and needed some form of communication to call us if he needed anything. He began having issues in using his phone, and sometimes I would be outside working and could not hear him. The device worked great and I was very happy with its ease of use, however he has since passed and when I went to cancel the subscription I noted a $99.00 cancellation fee as well as a $125.00 charge of the watch was not returned. I feel this is an unfair business practice and predatory on people who are in the midst of suffering. No where in the description about the device noted this and I feel this part of the program was purposely hidden to get people to initially purchase it.

Helpful Emergency Features
I appreciate the SOS button and two way calling feature. We tested it and the alert came through quickly with the location. The speakerphone is clear enough for short conversations.

For our dad ...
Our family brought this watch for our father who is 85 years old and has trouble keeping his balance. He one day fell and was not able to reach someone for hours. Luckily we came across SecuLife which offers easy to use instructions, different service plans that fit any budget and easy for our dad to use. Also customer service is really good they even followed up with us to make sure the alert device was up and running and if we needed any assistance with anything else, I thought that was great! We feel confident that this device will help our father get the assistance he needs sooner rather than later and give us peace of mind.

Awesome watch
This watch is phenomenal. It’s inexpensive $27 kind of a pain in the butt to set up, but they were really helpful in walking us through it. It works programmed myself and my sister, so it alerts both of us easily when my mom has problems or if she falls or an emergency. I would suggest anybody that has an older parent that lives alone to get this inexpensive watch it is phenomenal.

$45 and the device is not yours. Keep it safe or pay $125.
I tend to not review products, whether I like the product, or it disappointed me. Some products are just inferior to others, and you get what you pay for. I didn't buy this product thinking it was a piece of crap. I needed it to work for my elderly parent. This complaint goes more to the company than the product, but the product was a piece of crap also. I paid $45 for this device. I also paid the monthly fee, which is more than $17, but Seculife can't be bothered to update their description. I thought the watch was mine, but when you go to cancel the account they will charge you $99 if you don't return your device within 30 days. My dad fell, and it broke. That goes to the quality of the device. I returned it, and they charged me $125 saying it was beyond repair. This device has 4 buttons on it. Calculator watches are more advanced. There is no way it cost $125 to replace, or repair. This company should list all of the extra costs associated with the renting of their device.
