Laser Level Self Leveling, 2D Green Cross Line for Construction and Wallpaper/Flooring/Cabinet Installation, Rechargeable Li-ion battery, Magnetic Pivoting Base, Remote Controller by Excited Work

I liked it so much I bought a second one.Where to start...Got it at the special price of just under $18 and boy what a deal!Here's my user experience so far:Liked:1. Auto on feature, this level turns on as soon as you slide the laser head lock to unlock position.2. Long battery life. I had it running continuously after a full charge for over 4 hrs and it didn't die. I haven't tested how long it will actually last yet.3. The adjustable base that's included is great.4. Laser is bright and easily visible, just a slight draw back, because the clear cover over the laser head has edges, the laser has 2 breaks in the projected horizontal line. No issue with the vertical of course.Dislikes:Just one, the carry case could be better designed, but I think I'm nit picking here.

This is my first laser level so I don’t have much to compare it to. My first impression is that this laser level is ok. Out of the box i was impressed with how well cushioned the case is. It has foam padding and the level and stand fits perfectly. The stand/tripod holder is multifunctional. You can swivel, you can raise up or down maybe 4-5 inches, you can use it to mount to a tripod (not inclded) and it is magnetic sk you can stick it up to anything metal like a ladder and it holds the level firmly.Now as far as the actual leveling, it was a hit or miss for me, but mostly hit (which i assume would be just me learning how to use it properly). It has a lock and unlock mode. When it is on and i switch to lock or unlock, it turns it off. What i did notice is that the lock mode is not level. In unlock mode, you can see the laser balancing and actually levelling. I tried the level on a couple spots inside my house and the lock mode just isnt levelling.In any case, this laser level is great if you’re a DYI’er and put up stuff on the wall. I have an office that i plan to put more acoustic panels. Though I’ve already put up several by just eye balling, this laser level will help me in future panel installs.

I wanted to give a review of this laser, after many mixed reviews, I purchased because I liked the features and design. I first purchased the excited work 12 line 360, after purchasing a few of these Amazon lasers to compare and see if they were as good as myname brand laser( three times the cost), they all seem to work, pretty good, but I thought this one worked, the best for my needs, and matches my Metabo cordless gear. Where these might lack with remote control, both these lasers work great and have good designs with nice sharp bright lasers, and switchable! Remote would be nice, but I think this product focuses on practical use and not gadgets to promote instead of quality of product! I’m sure if it doesn’t work perfect for you, you can take back to Amazon and exchange, I have used this particular laser for all my last inside window and door leveling,( professional use) it gives a really great span of work area, seems durable comes with a nice fine leveling stand works great better than anything in this price point or type , and a good bag. This is excellent for doing interior work for inside with bright light conditions too. The over mold case is great if it should fall onto the floor, I accidentally dropped it, 2’ or so, laser was fine, best thing did not hurt my customer’s laminate floor! This is durable and non- marring. Also long lasting per use, non fluff review, great value!Also 12 line works perfectly too, and works with a detector! Buy both and can cover just about any need! Like this product!9/27/23 update: after using this product, I had an issue with usb plug to charge, this was after return policy expired, Excited work sent me a new one, now that’s what I call standing behind there product!!! As I said , best laser and company at this price!! Very satisfied, thank you Excited work!

Super handy, and quick to set up, love the green laser (increased visibility) the up and down adjuster could use some work, kinda clunky... Love the USB charging battery holds a charge for quite a while...and when it's dead it's d.e.a.d. the case for everything feels fairly durable, the laser fits nice and secure. It does the job.

The media could not be loaded. I had it on a sturdy tripod on a concrete floor and it bounced around constantly. It felt like you could not breath next to it. The laser itself is bright but when trying to select the option I needed it would cycle through like crazy. I didn't even had to touch the buttons, see video. Each beep is a mode change. When it would actually stop bouncing it was accurate when I compared it with a long level. I also could not easily adjust or lock it.

This laser level has a very bright beam and a feature filled stand. The locking switch on the front of the unit seems a little sloppy but it’s functional. The switch would occasionally snag on me when swapping between the locked (off) position and unlocked (on). The laser beam on this level has quite a bit of reach, roughly 180 degrees for the horizontal and vertical.You can easily toggle between the horizontal, vertical, or both beams. The stand itself is quite functional, if not maybe slightly cheap feeling in the rigidity of the plastic. It has a standard 1/4” tripod mount screw at the base and a strong set of magnets for attaching it to anything metallic. There’s also a thumb screw operated swivel and elevation adjustment on the stand.The case itself is a bit oversized and hokey feeling with the massive foam padding. I’m sure it protects the level and stand well, but it’s a bit much for my taste.

Great value at $18. Looks well made. Green light when fully charged. I haven’t checked accuracy but probably ok. Hold down power button to turn on. Probably a 18650 battery inside it if it ever needs replacing. Full price I would start looking at a 3 plane laser vs. this one so you can get the plumb cross hairs top and bottom and 360 lines.
