1st off, it's worth the purchase.Packaging was goodOverall design and construction is good.Price is good.Installation was fast and easy.Fitment is good.Looks are good.Only concern I encountered was the 2black press in screw holders. I was not impressed with them.It's not a deal breaker as you can go to any hardware store and buy better, beefier ones for penny's on the dollar. While your at it, get 2 new stainless screws to match the inserts you buy.Tech note: use hand held screw driver not power. 2 screws don't need to be cranked down. Just snug em up. Also... watch your lines and gaps before snugging the 2 screws them down.I used the box it arrived in to lay across engine bay so I didn't have to keep unlatching hood hook while adjusting. If your tall and don't have T Rex arms like me... pretty sure you can work off the hood being propped up and on the rod.Only future issue I see would be the adhesive failing but it is held on by the 2 end screws for extra protection. Could always dill in 2 more screws down the road if one wanted or be pro active and replace it before you install with better (thicker) 3m tape.Don't stress on this purchase.It's not a rip off by any means unlike so much garbage we all end up buying on here.I went with the mat black on my 18 Rubi jK Recon. Matches my grill and hood decals well.

I love the matte finish, it looks so good. The first one I ordered arrived broken but it was only shipped in the bag so not surprised. I immediately reached out to Amazon and they/the vendor processed an exchange and shipped it immediately. On both, the delivery was faster than expected, by several days so I’m thinking it came from somewhere close by. Finally took the time to install it today and it took less than 10 min. Haven’t driven with it yet but not expecting any issues. Now I can get my windshield replaced and be crack free for a little while.

I have a 2016 Rubicon 2 Door Hard Rock Wrangler with the power dome hood. I've tried several of these bug deflector and not one of them fit right. I had all but given up until I found this one. Easy Install (10 minutes) and it fits perfectly. It works great too. The other bug deflectors I've tried had to be taped to the hood but not this one so you don't have to worry about it messing up your paint. 5 stars all day.

20 minutes maybe to install, simple and looks great it added some wind noise but not bad, also interrupts windshield sprayer while driving

This is a great product, very solid and fits my 14' Rubicon Unlimited perfectly. I'd give it 5 stars but it didn't arrive with the hardware (2 screws, plugs, and washers). The adhesive is fine and does the job, and the missing screws are easy enough to find, but the screw plugs would have been nice. They're listed on the instructions as being included but were not. Happy to change this to 5 stars if Rugged Ridge/AMZN could send methe hardware or at least the screw plugs. Thanks, I'd recommend this product as I assume it comes with everything most of the time (?)*** changed to 5stars, rugged ridge customer service mailed missing hardware

When I first bought my 2015 Wrangler, I was stunned to find on the 2hr drive home just how many bugs got splattered on the windshield, which is much more vertical than most vehicles. Researching solutions, products like this were recommended. I recently completed a 20hr round trip to and from Dallas, and probably only splattered like 5 bugs the whole trip. It's hard to say for sure, but I do think this thing is doing its job, just considering the difference between driving with it before-and-after.Also the matte black plastic was well worth the cost upgrade. Looks great with the Jeep's other matte black features.

Easy to install looks great & wife loves it on her jeep

I seriously love the look of this deflector on my Wrangler. Great quality and it was very easy to install, but with speeds over 25 to 30 mph the level of wind noise on my soft top tripled. Had to remove it after only using it for a week and can't return it which is disappointing but my fault for not reading all the reviews regarding this issue with previous buyers.Update: After removing the deflector due to noise I decided to try it again and it doesn’t seem as loud now, or else I’m not as sensitive to it. Plus it just looks SO GOOD!
