YESWELDER Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with Fan and Light
I've been using the YESWELDER Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with Fan and Light for a while now, and overall, I'm impressed with its performance.Pros:Built-In Fan: The fan feature is a game-changer. It helps keep the interior of the helmet cool, which is especially beneficial during long welding sessions. It also reduces fogging, ensuring a clear view at all times.Integrated Light: The light is more helpful than I initially expected. It provides excellent visibility, making it easier to see the work area in low-light conditions. This feature really adds to the overall convenience and usability of the helmet.True Color View: The true color lens gives a clear and accurate view, which has made my work more precise. Colors are more natural, and the visibility is better compared to traditional green lenses.4 Arc Sensors: The 4 arc sensors ensure reliable and responsive darkening. I've experienced consistent performance with various welding processes, including TIG, MIG, and ARC.Cons:Weight: The helmet is a bit heavier compared to other models I've used, which can lead to some neck fatigue during extended use. However, the added features like the fan and light justify the extra weight.Battery Life: The fan and light drain the battery relatively quickly, so it's important to keep spare batteries on hand if you're planning a long day of work. Conclusion: The YESWELDER Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with Fan and Light is a solid investment for anyone who welds frequently. The combination of the fan and light features, along with the true color view and reliable arc sensors, makes this helmet stand out. While it has a few minor drawbacks, they are outweighed by the convenience and performance it offers.

Great hood, great price..
I had this on my list for a while, but never bought it. Then my son surprised me for father's day and bought it for me..I was pleasantly surprised with the head gear and how comfortable it is. It's not true clear glass so it still has the green hue, but the fan is a game changer.. I tend to sweat a lot, and fog up my miller hood. This has just enough air flow to not fog up, and also when welding galv it keeps the smoke out of the hood..I left the fan on once, and the next day the battery was dead.. but with the solar panels, it was charged enough in two hours to use for the rest of the day..I've only had this hood a few months but so far it's holding up well to daily use.. I definitely recommend!

one star off for the headgear but the rest of the helmet is working great.
Nice big window. Very clear image. The head gear is??? Mine was weirdly bent in the box and it's very light weight (flimsy). This could be OK if it lasts because it is quite comfortable. But my guess from other reviews is it's not likely to last a long time. It is almost impossible to crank it down hard enough to keep it from drifting down. And if you can then it takes a bit of work to get it to go to the down position. I like having a bib attached to the helmet so I don't get bounce off my shirt. I have one on order that can clip on, but I have usually pop riveter a leather one on, but I don't think I could get enough tension on the head gear to hold it up if I did. But I have replacement headgear on my wish list in case it breaks. So one star off for the headgear but the rest of the helmet is working great. It's been a couple more days of welding and I am pretty sure I will be ordering replacement headgear. I just can't get it tight enough to stay up, very frustrating. HF headgear is less comfortable but even with a leather bib riveted on it will stay up. This one you can adjust and it's OK and then it starts drifting down and you crank it tighter and it's OK and then it starts drifting down. I'm so cranked down at this point I expect it to snap off at any moment. The upside is blue or red headgear is only $20-$30 and that still puts this helmet at less than a blue or red hood. Maybe if I put a bib in back... Counter weight the thing and eliminate the odd molten BB bouncing in the hood.
