The Diet Coke of FPSs
There's not a lot to say about Frontlines. Imagine Call of Duty 4 with standard graphics and a little bit more retarded AI. Everything about this game feels just like a streamlined FPS. If you're itching for some more modern warfare but only want to spend [...], Frontlines is a great choice.Pros:+The few new features Frontlines offer generally work pretty well. The game gives you a handful of robotic vehicles, including micro-helicopters, which can be lifesavers in some situations.+The cut scenes can be skipped. The story tries to take itself as a serious commentary on the oil crisis but who cares? Let's just skip straight to the shooting.+ It's just fun. It plays like the store brand of Call of Duty but there's no denying the simple joy of driving your military R/C car behind enemy lines and under a tank to blow it up.+Diversity. Though it doesn't help the story to do so, the game constantly moves around, from the slums of Moscow to a desert oil field to a backwoods forest.Cons:-The whole "frontline" aspect is a cheap ploy to cover a pretty standard level design. The game boils down to go here, blow up this, secure this, move on.-AI. Your enemies can score headshots from behind cover 300 yards away. Your fellow soldiers are idiots. I spent five minutes trapped in a room because one of my guys just stood in the doorway, firing blindly across the map.-The sniper rifle sucks. I like to lean on sniper rifles in RPSs, but it doesn't work here. Frontline's sniper is horribly inaccurate and only a direct headshot will kill an enemy in one round.Bottom line: You've probably played this game before but that doesn't keep it from still being a blast. Just close your eyes and imagine its a new level pack for COD4.

Packed and surprising FPS.
There are only few things holding this game back from being one of the best shooters on xbox 360. Lack of co-op and local multiplayer are my issues with the game. However there are so many positives. For an old game, this game is packed, there is so much to do, so many weapons, gadgets, drones and vehicles to use along with big maps to choose which routes you take and how you fight. It felt very much to me like a FPS version of Ghost Recon to be honest, which is a good thing. It's challenging as well, I ran through it on Hardcore, and it was indeed very hardcore. Everything is fun about this game, gameplay, level design, music, graphics, etc. This game packs a punch for it to be an older title, and the price range is also nice. Overall this is a very solid FPS, highly recommended as a Single player and online experience.

The best XBOX 360 game ever made.
I loved this game. It contains lots of weapons and vehicles. The single player mode is really fun, it is not too hard and not too easy. The multiplayer mode is also excellent; You can lead squads and tag along with your teammates in almost all of the vehicles but on the multiplayer map Solar Farm it is too small for the planes that you can pilot because you can start at one side of the map and go to the end in about 10-20 seconds tops. Other that that, I highly recommend this game and I bet the sequel is as good as this. The plot is also realistic as you are a member of the Stray Dogs, a highly trained special forces group that work for the Western Coalition. The objective of the game is to capture Red Star bases and to kill their soldiers. The first mission is a rescue mission; A reporter who follows the Stray Dogs is captured by RS forces and you have to save him although he supposedly dies on the last mission where RS fighter planes fire machine guns and missiles at him at the last scene.

Intriguing storyline and not a long game
Great shootem up video game. I did die quite a bit on normal. The story was about oil wars and who controls what remains. I seemed to use the drone when available and the sniper rifle for long shots. Might do a go around on hard level just to see if I can. Games not extremely long so a really good player can probably get thru it in an afternoon. Maybe.

Good Military shooter
This is a battlefield / war shooter that is pretty open & gives the player freedom to go their own routes. You have options to use gadgets to clear the area of enemies & tanks. Things like RC Cars & Planes to keep you from harms way but getting into the defense & doing work.It also has a great replay option. You can replay any objective after you beat the game. Not going through the entire level but a certain portionNot very long . Took me about 2 days to beat it but it has some good replay value. Some games after you put 10 hours into beating it your done for a long time. This game is short but sweet. So you can pop it in anytime.

Good if you like fictional warfare
This game is similar to others of the genre such as COD Modern Warfare, Battlefield2, ect....post WWII, sometime in the future. The missions are similar, mainly special ops hopping from one hot spot to another, with little or no difference between missions, which I think is due to the fact that they are not based on any factual history. I much prefer the historical context and continuity of the earlier COD and MOH, WWII genre. Also, I liked being able to fight with different armies, enemies and locations such as COD World at War. The battles in the WWII genre are usually larger, more complex and interesting.Having said all that, Frontlines: Fuel of War is a fun, fast paced, though rather simplistic FPS game. What I would really like to see are games based on WWI....a lot of material there. But, I guess the powers that be at Activision, EA and others are trying to reach a younger audience, one who is more interested in a faster pace, with overwhelming fire power and shorter missions.
