What is the Maximum gate width using pressure treated 2x4’s and fence slats

Experimental... I have used them on 4' doors. If you wish to use on a large door, simply add additional frame support.

How can that work on any size gate? I am looking for an easy way to replace a gate across my driveway. Hinges look too small.

I have a 10' opening, so I used 2 sets of these to replace an old sagging gate, they're plenty strong. Could easily span 6' each gate, since they're solid steel. Ken C.
