So I like the lighter, color wise, size wise, design, ergonomics... The grips on the side of the lighter are pretty awesome as well. What is not awesome, is after using the lighter a few times, it seems the mechanism, valve or whatever, that keeps in the butane when the lighter is not in use, seems to stick open randomly.. so the lid closes, & sometimes the flame stays on. I'm no genius, but this doesn't seem to bode well. Um, this is pretty dang frustrating to be honest. I've got a product I like. But the product build quality... is in the garbage. Also the paints already flaking in a certain area. This lighter cost 50 bucks usd. That's not economical for a lighter. I don't know how to handle this to be honest. Should I even bother exchanging? will I just get more garbage?

Okay so I really love this lighter, well, the function of it. The quality of the lighter is one of the worst I've seen. Look at my pictures, keep in mind that while I have owned it for roughly 3 months now, my lighter looked very similar to how it does now after a week of use. I really tried to take care of it but after a week of use, the black on the plastic really started to come off and it already looked really bad. Very disappointed because the lighter itself works amazingly.

after over a year of using the lighter it still works amazing. one of favorite single torch. accurate and easy to use. love how laser like accurate it is for giving a nice trim to my cigar. only down side is that the bottom of the lighter is a bit loose. but would recommend for anyone looking for a nice single torch lighter.

Adjustment dial broke within three days, despite being in a pocket with nothing else in it. Stills works on the second or third try reliably. Pretty satisfied.
