Best natural gainer on the market.
This is a vegetarian gainer. I gained 15lbs in a couple weeks. It tastes great, like creamy dark chocolate milk. It dissolves easily, just stir with a fork. So if you are looking for the basics there it is. Since you are looking at one of the only natural gainers in existence, you must read labels. But maybe you don't know what all the stuff on the label means. So I'll quickly do that for you! An in-depth analysis of these ingredients: Natural Protein Optimizer (Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Concentrate, Instantized Calcium Caseinate, Egg White), Maltodextrin, Fructose, Opti-fat (Sunflower Oil, Soy Lecithin, Medium Chain Triglycerides, Omega-3 Oil [From Algae], Cla), Cocoa, Natural Chocolate Flavors, Trehalose, Salt and Stevia. Ultrafiltered Whey: from milk, whey is easily absorbed and popularly used by itself as a gainer because of its relatively balanced protein spectrum. Instantized Caseinate: from milk - different length to absorption compared to Whey, so when you've used up one the other picks up the slack so to speak. Egg White: The gold standard of protein in the animal kingdom - the easiest to digest with the most complete spectrum and also one of the most expensive proteins on the market. Maltodextrin: produced by starch, easily digested as glucose. After exercise you glucose levels are drastically depleted, this will more than replenish them, and might even be stored as fat if you don't use it. Glucose also helps with protein synthesis. Fructose: similar to maltodextrin, fruit sugar that turns to glucose and sucrose. Fats: -Sunflower oil: a good monosaturated fat -Soy lecithin: the one fat I wish this didn't have as it's unknown if it's chemically or mechanically extracted, it's likely from GMO soybeans if I had to guess since they don't say no-GMO on the label. This wasn't a deal breaker for me as soooo many products use soy lecithin. -Medium chain triglycerides: one of the ingredients that the brand "Muscle Milk" pushes. They do not require energy for absorption, utilization, or storage. Little evidence that it helps in body building, but it balances out the fat ratio. -Omega 3 oil: good for balance of fat intake, antioxidant properties, brain health, and lots of other benefits that are easy to research but this is a tertiary ingredient so I'm not going to go into it. -Conjugated linoleic acids (CLA): lots of research on this one, including an antioxidant, improved body composition(leanness) So there is a pretty good balance of fats there I would say, which is good, because your body needs fat to build muscle, about 20% of your calories should be fat if you are building. Cocoa + Natural Chocolate Flavors - cocoa naturally contains caffeine, which has been shown to increase workout performance, increasing both length and intensity of workouts. And cocoa is of course a great anti-oxidant, and tastes great. Trehalose: supposedly helps retain water and prevent cell dehydration and is also an antioxidant. Salt: probably included for taste, there isn't much Stevia: also included for taste. Stevia comes from the stevia plant. Basically the leaves are ground up and that's the entire process. Hope that helps! I think this stuff is great!

Best All Natural Product for Weight Gain
I've tried a few protein and weight gainer powders over the years such as Optum, Met-rx, and Muscle Mass. I'm very thin having difficulty putting on weight (not complaining) and was looking for just that extra bit of supplement to help pack on a little bit of mass after working out. I've also tried both Whey and Egg proteins because I have trouble digesting certain foods, including lactose. None of the ones I've tried in the past made me feel very good after several daily uses, so I would have to stop for a day or two then try again. So concerned with the artificial components of these various supplements, I began looking for a more natural alternative when I came across the MRM All Natural Gainer. This is the first protein/gainer powder I've used where I was able to use daily for a month before running out (twice a day in fact) that didn't make me feel sick after a few days. There are no artificial ingredients at all really, including no artificial sweeteners which can cause havoc on the digestive system. It tastes great, is filling, but not at all overwhelming, mixes easily, and leaves me feeling great. I was concerned about the whey being milk based, but it's not a problem at all. In terms of effectiveness for putting on mass, I did notice an increase of a few pounds in the month I used it. I can't really comment on comparable effectiveness to other gainers, but certainly if you're looking for something to supplement your diet to get that bit of extra help and want something natural that won't destroy your insides and is healthy for you, don't hesitate to give this a try.

Good source of protein
Mixes well in water. Taste is good and doesn't leave any aftertaste. I mix one scoop in 8-10oz of water and just stir it. It has a good amount of protein, and seems to be the most cost effective way to get it, WITHOUT garbage artificial sweeteners, I don't get why a company WOULD try to cut the calories (real sugar) out of a weight gainer, but the big companies all seem to do it. Edit 7/24: I have switched to another source of protein powder, due to a new sweetener ingredient found in this product (on my last shipment of April) that was not in past shipments- and reading the current label here on one of Amazon's little pictured windows, I do not now see it listed. I could not readily identify it, nor do I recall what it was: perhaps it was only this shipment. It seems that companies routinely switch around some ingredients. I deducted one star for this. I am very wary of Stevia "extracts" or derivatives..a little too good to be true. My new protein- Jarrow Formulas All Natural Whey Protein has Lo Han Guo as the sweetener, and to be honest, I am not sure about the uses of that either. All depends on how it is derived. For example, SOY itself is even harmful, or hardly beneficial if not "processed" in the proper manner. I'm a bit paranoid. May give up these protein powders altogether til more info is out about these "new" "natural" sweeteners. I wish these protein powder companies would just add the calories, and use natural sugar.

Love this stuff
I buy this on a weekly basis. I'm a vegetarian, I'm very active, and I regularly workout. It's hard for me to keep on weight even before becoming a vegetarian, and it's become difficult getting my protein from food. This has helped me a lot, and unlike other protein powders it doesn't make me constipated because it has fiber, it doesn't overload my digestive system like I just drank concrete, and it actually has improved my digestive health. I take use this 2-3 times a day to help achieve a 3000 calorie intake with a healthy macro-nutrient balance, and it's easy to drink it's like drinking chocolate milk, no strange texture, no strange background tastes. I really like the fact that it has healthy carbs and some added fat to it, which really helps pre and post workout, it's nice to be able to take this before a long bike ride and it keeps me full and fueled for a good long while. Complex carbs, fast and slowly digested proteins, and some healthy fats keep you fueled without a huge jump in blood sugar. This stuff is excellent for lean gaining, pre-workout nutrition, loading healthy calories before strenuous activity, and post-workout recovery. Most of all just using this as a daily supplement I feel healthier, more energized, and am able to gain and keep lean body mass which has been an issue for most of my life.

Really great protein powder!
I actually use and purchase this powder quite frequently! The taste is actually not bad at all and is not too sweet. I bought this to help gain weight, and it does help! The texture is not bad either and mixes well with water. I recommend also to anyone with a sensitive stomach, as it does not upset mine!

Best protein powder I've used
Great protein powder, good probiotics and doesn't have an over powering protein flavor.

Great value, flavor not too bad
Excellent value and nutritional profile. After searching for a healthy mass gainer for about an hour and a half, I found this and it checked all the boxes (no artificial sweeteners, includes enzymes, not just maltodextrin, favorable protein to carb ratio, good ingredient additions overall, good price, and probiotics - to list a few). The flavor isn't the best but it's not the worst. Mixed in with vanilla almond milk, it's very enjoyable, but with water it would just be tolerable in my opinion. Anyways, highly recommended - especially added to smoothies!
