Great blackout and sound reducing lining for curtains.
Great quality lining for curtains. Drapes well. Blocks out 100% of light. Reduces outside sounds by 30% roughly. Pretty good if you need only slight reduction in noise. Worth the money for the quality. I would order it again when making new curtains.

Great quality, easy to sew, very effective, no odor. Cuts very straight with little effort. I added this to the back of some velvet curtains that I splurged on. In the photos I attached, the right side has the blackout liner and the left is not yet lined. It doesn’t add much weight, but it makes a big difference in brightness at midday. I think it even makes the drapes look fuller and more luxurious when pulled back.

Works great as blackout curtains. I sewed a channel along an edge for a tension rod, the fabric is light enough not to pull it down. Can't believe we lived without them

I used this fabric to line some curtains i purchase earlier. The lining really does block light and heat/cold. Good product

I …uh….washed my old blackout lining. Evidently you aren’t supposed to do that and when it came out of the washer it looked like I had washed contact paper….everything was stuck to everything. When trying to pull it apart, all the backing was coming off onto the opposite side leaving HUGE areas with no blackout product. So the old ones were trashed. I looked for blackout curtains and they were a bit pricey. The black out lining goes behind a guest bed and covers a window that can’t be accessed so it is never opened (in explaining that it also follows why it hadn’t been accessed for cleaning in ? 18 months so I thought I should wash the old ones ) I knew no one would see whatever I used or made, so I ordered this budget product from Roc-Lon, the fact that Roc-Lon had made it made me comfortable with the budget aspect of it. After being sure the dimensions I was ordering would cover the widow or that I could make panels from the yardage to do so, i ordered it. When I received the fabric, I cut panels a bit wider and about 4-5” longer than needed, folded over a rod pocket channel and used the sewing machine to do seams for the curtain rod. Then switched to my serger and just made a rolled hem on the other edges of the fabric, being sure not to close the ends of the rod pocket. Panels complete, I threaded them on a tension rod and hung them over the window behind the huge guest bedroom headboard. Complete : Budget project fixing my ignorance to washing blackout lining. Now we are back to having a dark guest bedroom allowing our guests to sleep late.
