Use this for a 20lb steel chicken coop door. No problems in the 2 months we’ve used it. It’s a little noisy but it’s outside so no biggy.

Used 2x linear actuator to angle solar panel above overland vehicle. Works great, was able to raise panel to about 52 degrees. Used knobs to lock panel in when not in use. There is some play when fully retracted. Wish I could figure out how to sync both sides together.

I set up 2 of these actuators for my programmed automatic bedroom window opener/closer & also chicken coop door.

I intend to use these to adjust the angle on a Curtis Cabs UTV snow plow. One is more than strong enough to do the job but I'll put one on both sides in a push/pull arrangement. The plow has a mechanical angle stop that I intend to reuse because I don't believe these actuators could take the abuse without it. I will also make angle changes with the plow in an elevated position to increase the lifespan of these actuators. I also intend to purchase a second set to lift up the end of a bed in an RV to access the storage space under it.

Stopped working after approximately 10 cycles. Had to buy a different brand.

Use this forca snowblower chute control. Worked well this past season. Hopefully it continues to do so.

The linear actuators works well. But leave yourself some time if you need to re-order. I ordered the 200mm (8 inch) stroke units. Amazon shipped me a 300mm (12 inch stroke) units. The manufacturer box label was correct stating 300mm, but Amazon's label said 200mm. The longer units would not fit, so I returned the 2 units I ordered and Amazon immediately replaced them. This time the 2 units shipped from different locations. Unfortunately, I again received 2) 300mm stroke units that had the same incorrect labeling on them. At this point, my project was going to be late, so I spent a couple hours modifying the equipment so I could fit the oversized units in. The system works as designed but looks clunky with the oversized actuator.

Comes with mounting brackets. End of travel limit switches built in, removing cover allows adjustment of these if you need less travel. good value. 12v Motor, works fine with 8v, or 15v if limited time of use. Very Very strong
