Not the tiniest sff case but maybe the easiest to build in.
The TLDR is that this case is great. I bought another to build a new work computer, and both cases are keeping cool. I did replace the fans with Scythe 140mm fans on the radiator and 120mm slim fans for the bottom on both my home and work builds since both are similar enough. It's been a while since I built a computer and kind of set it and forgot about it. I've dusted out the home machine once since I got that one. Otherwise my only gripe was the paint on the original case but again, that literally buffed out. The second case didn't even have much in the way of spots on the paint or anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review below: I had an original nr200 that I moved an old itx build into about a year ago and loved it. I honestly wish I had kept it instead of selling and keeping my atx build. But I probably wouldn't have gone with this then. So, it's a win. After waiting 7+ months for this case, between seeing it in reviews and not knowing where to get it until it hit Amazon/Newegg, I'd say it was worth the wait. This comes with two minor caveats, for me at least, that I can't imagine many people have run into. I got my *first* delivery and was missing the riser cable and one of the pcie power cables. The box looked unopened so I'll say it was a packing issue from the factory. I did try to just go through the order page to exchange it but was only given the option to return. I'd imagine this is due to the cost of the item as a whole. A call with an Amazon rep got this turned into an exchange. The second little gripe I have is with the paint. On the first and second item, the paint looked a little weird. Not really scuffs but I had to take a little polish to the panels to clean them up. Not a big deal, but if someone is paying close to or over 450 for this great package, and technically for a specific color, I would think the qc on the paint would be a better. I popped an x570i Strix board with my 5900x and Strix 3080. Everything fit like a glove. The cooler does have a little whine in the pump but I keep the machine of to the side and have a fan on most of the time so it's not audible. I did change the top fans out though for the Silverstone Penatrator ARGB fans to get a little more flair but the stock fans were more than capable of get the hot air through the radiator. I matched these up with their 120mm Slimmer fans. If you don't already have a computer built or want to downsize from an ATX build like my situation, this is the way to go. Be weary that the psu comes with 2x PCIE power cables that have 2 plugs daisy chained each. I don't really see this as a problem but I know there are disadvantages to this according to the internet pc building gods. I had a custom cable made anyway to add a third and there are plenty of people on etsy that can provide such a product or a full set of cables if needed. I paired this with a set of those 90 degree adapters too so it looks extra clean. I think if Coolermaster sold this version of the case, without the psu, cooler, riser, etc, for the same price as the normal nr200, I think they'd still sell a ton. Great case overall, probably never going mid/full size build again because of it.

Great case/PSU/AIO/PCIe riser combo!
Bought it in 2024’s Black Friday ($280), so just over a year now. Pretty tight fit, but that’s what this form factor is all about. I have an RTX 4070S with three fans and had no issues whatsoever fitting it in this case. The AIO is more than enough for my 5800X3D, never goes above the low 60s C. I’ve set the fan curve in fan control really gradual and it’s near completely silent most of the time (I play some GTA V enhanced and MSFS 2024). Great quality, all cables come pre-attached and with the precise lenght you need.

Perfect case for modern builds
Fits with PNY RTX 5080 OC graphics card (Triple fan). I bought this to replace a full tower case to have something easier to move and it works great for that. It is still a bit on the heavy side but feels well built. My one very trivial complaint is that there isn't a screw to hold the side panel on. The fastener seems to hold fine but it would be nice to have an optional screw to make it a bit more secure.

Great looking and super easy for beginners.
In summary, I love it! The NCORE 100 Max is a great case for a small form factor (SFF) build. I've been building my own computers for over 15 years and if this is your first SFF build like me and you need the smaller components then the price tag isn't excessive for what you get. If it goes on sale for $350 or lower it would be a great value. If your gaming like me, you'll probably want to do some stuff to bring overall system temps down, if not this system is good to go as is. Fits my full size Gigabyte RTX 4080 Gaming OC. 10 out of 10 would buy again. Read on for more detail. I really love aesthetic and functionality of this case and have put a lot of effort into improving it without modifying the case physically. That out of the way there are a few issues I noticed and have seen others complain about. The fans are a little noisy at higher speeds and if you are doing anything intensive they will need to spin up, but easy to upgrade if you want. I replaced all the fans including the PSU fan and now it's super quiet and temps are even better, do the PSU at your own risk though cause that will void the PSU warranty. AIO pump is also a little noisy above 50%, maybe I was just unlucky there. The other issue I had was with temperatures during high demand games like Cyberpunk and Avatar. Is it safe, maybe, but I have concerns for longevity. My reported system temps read like they were acceptable, 7800X3D was in the mid 70 C range. That thick 120mm AIO does a pretty good job. However, I touched the case and back of the MOBO and it was hotter than I am comfortable with. I would guess the case and MOBO was sitting in the 90-100 F range. The problem is the air flow over the MOBO and GPU is subpar because the case relies on the exhaust fan to pull air in and due to the holes being all over the income air is not coming in over the MOBO like it should. If you don't want to try and figure out how to get more fans on this thing I bet you could improve air flow vastly by blocking the all vent holes on the upper half of the case above the MOBO (except over the PSU). Air would then pull in from the bottom and move up and out. My solution was to add an external 140mm fan over the MOBO (no more room for any fans inside) and now my temps are perfect, GPU side is still a bit warm but acceptable.

Worth it
Really good SFF case, especially since the power supply and all the cables come prerouted, and the AIO head is already perfectly lined up for where your CPU will be. I would look at the PSU and remove any cables you don’t need before you put anything in, as it will be very cramped with all of them in. Preinstalled fans are a bit loud, but you’ll be fine turning them down a bit, as I haven’t seen my CPU (ryzen 9 9900x) hit more than 78ish degrees, even under heavy load. Since the GPU is right up next to the side of the case (if you’re using the vented side panel), it gets access to fresh air, so those temps are also great. You will need at least 1 15mm height fan for the bottom, as a 25mm will not fit under the PCIe riser cable (even with trying to force it a little). Overall an amazing case to start building SFF computers.

I got this case recommended by my friend and I received the courier within 2 days after the order. The product was genuine and there were no damages. It was easy for a newbie like me to get this assembled and all the components are well build. Liked the way it looks and the grey color for the max version looks pretty good to me.

Had an eye on this case for a long time, bought it on sale and having the cooling included keeps the wallet puffy ;)! Very good packaging, all is included, good installation instructions on the website with details of GPU sizes to fit. Very satisfied with the purchase, will still hunt for another one.
