Identical to original.
Form, fit, and function of the hose being replaced. I’m assuming this will last as long as the original part, which was about 10 years. One note; this comes with an extra washer. No not install with both.

Way better than the metal hoses!
Just installed a new Hansgrohe wallbar slider, hand-held shower wand, and hose. The hose is a bit stiff out of the box but looks much better than the old segmented metal hose we had. I suspect that after some serious hot water runs through the hose it will relax a bit. Hmmmm, a shower sounds nice, about now! Easy install. Used two washers on the input end. Taped the threads on that end and tightened it up with a thick piece of paper towel in the jaws of channel locks. Didn't bugger up the end of the hose and tightened up with no leaks. Love Hansgrohe products.

Good quality, easy install, matches good enough
The hansgrohe Techniflex Handheld Shower Replacement Hose 63-inch in Brushed Nickel has been in use for nearly 9 months with absolutely no issues. Looking back, it was very easy to install (plus they included new washers) and the brushed nickel finish, although not a direct replacement for our 17 year old Hansgrohe. The original hose was a segmented (articulating) hose that exactly matched the shower head assembly and valve, but we weren't able to find that exact one. This has been a great runner up.

Beautiful hose - Could be a foot longer
1. Seems much more durable that the braided hose it is replacing. I don't have the experience of the other reviewer (I just received it), but it does appear that it is built to last. 2. MUCH more attractive than the old hose. 3. I wish it was a foot longer, and I would have been happy to pay more for the extra length. The "normal" length for shower handle hoses appears to be 69". This one is 63". I'd like one that is about 80". But I didn't downgrade it as the length is clearly stated in the description. If you can't deal with the shorter length, buy something else. 4. Toss a rag over the drain before bringing the hose in the shower to install. The o-rings can escape. Overall, a nice buy and roughly 1/2 the price that I would have paid at a home center for an inferior product.

Both connectors came off within couple years of use
If you buy this hose you already know why : Hansgrohe hand shower support is narrower than the industry standard so it would only fit a Hansgrohe hose which has a narrower connector. Issue is the connectors of this replacement hose are poorly attached. Both connectors came off within couple years. It was not the case with the original hose that came with the Hansgrohe shower bar which this hose is the direct replacement of. Which led me to believe manufacture quality has gone down. I ended up having to reattach the connectors using crazy glue or two part epoxy (forgot which). After the repair it seems to work well enough so let's see how long it lasts.

Hansgrohe's Techniflex Handheld Shower Hose: A Connection Nightmare
My experience with the Hansgrohe Techniflex Handheld Shower Replacement Hose quickly turned into a frustrating saga. Within a paltry four months, the hose decided to liberate itself from the handle during a routine shower, creating a watery mess and a decidedly unpleasant bathing experience. The seemingly innovative design proved to be a major flaw, as the hose detachment issue appears to be a widespread problem, judging by the shared experiences of many disgruntled customers. Despite reaching out to Hansgrohe for a solution, the echoing silence from their customer service only adds insult to injury. If you value a reliable and hassle-free shower experience, steer clear of the Hansgrohe Techniflex Handheld Shower Hose. Its penchant for separating from the handle will leave you with soggy regrets and a company that seems uninterested in addressing its design flaw.

Unique shower hose style can be used with any shower heads.
Love these hoses. I've also bought the longer 80 inch one for a large shower. Easy to clean because they are smooth and they match most satin nickel fixtures from other vendors as well.. Kohler, Speakman, Grohe, Moen., etc. When you first get them they are a bit stiff and don't hang right. With use they quickly shape and soften up just like a garden hose would. I've had one for a few years and it still looks good as new-very robust. One end of the hose rotates so it never twists or fights you. Make sure you install it in the right direction.

Works exactly as promised
This replacement hose fits perfectly and works well. I have had mine now for more than a year with no issues at all.

Nice to know you can still get replacement parts for an older shower. Let the hose hang straight down for a day or two to get the curl out. It has improved connectors that turn more easily.
