Q: how can i use this mascara. first apply white side and then black or how? what does the white side of mascara do? thanks in advance

Hello! We recommend using the ultra-nourishing base coat first (white side of tube) and then immediately use the topcoat (black side of tube) to visibily lengthen your lashes. We hope this helps!

Q: DOSE IT GIVE EXTRA VOLUME?

It does not. But what I do is I combine this with another mascara...Clump Crusher (NOT waterproof) by Covergirl. First I put on the white then right afterwards I put the black (of this Loreal one). Then right after that I put on the covergirl. That way I have lots of volume, long lashes, and because of the Loreal one, I have no flaking and it stays on all day!! Of course when you wash it off, you will still get raccoon eyes because of the other mascara. But that's what I do and I love it! I actually get compliments.

Q: Will this give me racoon eyes? I seem to have a problem with mascara giving me dark circles. Maybe i blink a lot?

No raccoon eyes. That's what I like about this product. It doesn't smear or smudge. Plus, it comes off easily WITHOUT pulling out lashes. No makeup remover or baby oil is needed! Just wet a wash cloth and hold it on the eyes for 10+ seconds, the tubes slide right off the lashes. I have skimpy lashes and was always pulling them out while removing mascara. Not any more. I've been using this product for several years. Unlike what another reviewer says about it not lasting, it DOES last! At least 3 months.

Q: How long does this product last? Weeks? Months?

All day long, no matter how hot or how wet you get while swimming. I do remove mine at night with baby oil so I can do my makeup fresh every day. If you want to skip a day, go ahead but I have found my eyeliner is smeared in the mornings. Been using these product for a long time and have no plans to change brands.
