Love these little things. I have two dozen in use. Been using for a few years and never had one fail. Integrates with Alexa or Google easily. Very easy to connect to the Gosund or Tuya apps. Just be smart and don't use them for something that draws max amps--like an air conditioner or heater. Christmas tree lights, indoor x-mas decorations, fans, accent lights, lamps, anything that has a power switch that's hard to reach. I even use them on computers and monitors...set computer to auto start--I tell Alexa to turn on the computer and when I walk into the office, it's already booted up. I have LED shop lights over a work bench in the garage and the ceiling outlet is not switched...how would I turn them on/off--one of these and it's voice activated now.

I have a bunch of GHome Smart items in my home. 8 plugs, 2 wall dimmer switches, 1 wall switch, and a power bar with 6 smart plugs. All easy to manage, and all voice controllable with Alexa. Connectivity is reliable. In the video attached, you can see how I use the Smart items. I have a large hard drive with photos and videos that I connect to my TV. By using a GHome Smart Plug I can turn on the hard drive before I turn on the TV. Not having to physically deal with turning these items on and off and instead having Alexa do it is wonderful. We can check in the GHome app to see if we left on a light and turn it off from the app. Highly recommend!

Best for: Anyone who wants simple voice control for lamps or appliances at a good price Not ideal for: Outlets with very tight spaces, since these plugs stick out! I’ve used these Gosund smart plugs for years and they’ve been great. I recently gifted 8 more to my parents and had them set up in just a few minutes. Setup is fast and easy. You’ll download the Gosund app, create an account, and after granting necessary permissions, the plug auto-discovers itself. There’s also a manual setup option if needed. From there, I went into our Alexa app, selected “set up a new smart plug,” chose Gosund, and it auto-detected them. Within minutes, all our lamps were voice-controllable. These plugs do stick out a bit, so make sure you have enough space around your outlets. Otherwise, they’re solid, compact, and durable. Bought these to automatically turn on and off the lights in my reptile terrariums, whether I’m at home or off on a trip for a few days. They are super cool little appliances that were fairly easy to set up, and I’m surprised they are so affordable. Only giving 4 stars because the app is lacking in some areas. At first, I was putting in my wifi password incorrectly while pairing, and the app didn’t say that my password was incorrect but just that the pairing had “timed out” or “failed” and it suggested I move closer to my router. This led me to believe there was something wrong with my connection or the product rather than my password simply being incorrect. There are also quite a bit of typos in the app, and the home location feature doesn’t seems to do or mean anything because it changes to your current location every time you open it and never stays set. I also haven’t figured out how to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, I’m not sure that it’s an option (not that it matters because I think it’s displaying the temp of my current location and not my house). Overall, great product for things you need to turn off and on remotely or without being right beside the switch. App needs work but that can always be improved in software updates.

The smart plug was extremely easy to set up.It is now running my christmas tree and all the lights that belong to it. I'm very happy with the performance and the price.

These smart plug ins make it so easy to turn on and off our lights/Christmas lights. They work perfectly with Google Home. Set up is very easy and never had an issue with connecting them.

This is just a GREAT product and a GREAT company. The smart mini plugs work well with Alexa. They have worked flawlessly except for one mini plug. I had I think a power surge and then ONE of the mini plugs quite working. I contacted Ghome customer support and they sent me a package of FOUR. That was unexpected and I think it says alot about the company. Overall, a GREAT COMPANY that sells a GREAT PRODUCT!!

Love these. Made life so much easier. We use the on our soft light lamps that we can turn on whenever and wherever we are around the home. Easy set up and the app is great. Haven’t tried the timer yet.

These are excellent. We have the original four we purchased about 8 years ago, still working well. I purchased another four from another but compatible brand and have already had to replace two of them. Was very happy to see GHome back on Amazon.
