Cheap and reliable
Got this for me and the wife riding on separate bikes. Reasonable range and it rarely disconnects. When you do go out of range it reconnects automatically. Battery life is good. I’m able to ride to work for a full week without worrying about it. Sound is reasonably tho I typically have the volume all the way up. Listen to podcasts and the audio comes thru just fine.

Gives very good music quality, and ability to make telephone calls
I have been using various wireless and wired ear pods for years, this is my first in helmet system. I use in a Schuberth helmet which is fairly quiet, and I am impressed with the quality of sound. The helmet had recesses for the speakers, and installation was easy. Consistent and reliable connection to my iphone, no dropped signals. Great for music when riding. I have not used the microphone for telephone calls except for testing purposes, but my wife mentioned she could not tell it was from my helmet. One of the reasons for the purchase was also the ability to dial 911 in case of any road emergencies, from my helmet using iphone Siri and verbal commands hands free while still riding. I have not tested this functionality, but it should serve the purpose.

Great little cardo!
I recently purchased the Cardo Spirit communication system for my motorcycle, and I couldn’t be more impressed. As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, having reliable, clear, and hands-free communication with fellow riders is essential—and the Cardo Spirit delivers on all fronts. Sound Quality: First off, the sound quality is fantastic. The speakers are crisp, with clear highs and deep bass that really enhance the listening experience. Whether I’m chatting with my riding group or listening to music, the audio is loud and clear, even at highway speeds. The noise-cancelling microphone works wonders, blocking out wind and road noise, so my riding buddies always hear me loud and clear without any annoying static or distortion. Ease of Use: The Cardo Spirit is incredibly user-friendly. The interface is simple and intuitive, with easy-to-use controls that can be operated with gloves on—no fumbling around or having to take your hands off the handlebars. Pairing the device with my phone and other Bluetooth-enabled devices was a breeze, and it connects quickly every time I start my bike. The voice command feature is also a nice touch, allowing me to keep my focus on the road while answering calls, changing tracks, or adjusting volume without having to press any buttons. Comfort & Fit: Comfort is another area where the Cardo Spirit excels. The unit attaches securely to my helmet, and the microphone and speakers fit comfortably without feeling bulky or intrusive. I’ve used it for several long rides, and I’ve never had any discomfort or issues with the fit. Battery Life: Battery life is impressive as well. On a full charge, I easily get several days of riding with occasional use, and when I need to top it off, the device charges quickly. For long-distance rides, the Cardo Spirit has more than enough power to keep up. Overall: The Cardo Spirit is hands-down one of the best motorcycle communication systems I’ve used. It’s simple to set up, delivers crystal-clear sound, and offers great comfort for long rides. Whether you’re riding solo or with a group, this device improves the experience by making communication seamless, and I feel safer knowing I can stay connected at all times. If you're a rider looking for a reliable and high-quality comm system, I highly recommend the Cardo Spirit. It’s worth every penny!

Good value, works exactly as expected, speaker placement is KEY
Installation was super simple. Some people do the adhesive, but I chose the clamp/clip on my AGV K6 and it works well. I was ready to give this thing a low rating because of the audio quality, but it turns out I just didn’t place the speakers well. My helmet has deep speaker wells just for this, but for some sized heads, it puts the speakers too far from your ear, resulting in a tinny poor quality audio. I then tried installing the included speaker spacer pads to position them closer to my ear, and the sound quality improved drastically! Decent quality sound, especially for the price. Downside: The EQ settings are only available with the HD version - but here’s the BS kicker: the unit is capable of it, they just choose to lock it out unless you get the upgraded speakers and scan a QR code. So you’re paying for a device that you can’t use all of. I thought that was pretty dumb. Aside from that, decent connectivity, easy controls and buttons and I’ve never dropped a connection yet. Took it for several 4+ hour rides and it was never less than 50% battery after any of those rides. Build quality seems very solid.

Very impressive
Wow very impressed I bought some high end speakers and a portable amp they sounded good but since I switched to the cardo omg they woke them up ama sounds amazing I haven't even tried the jbl speakers i got the the add on but boy an I happy it's a little tricky hooking up to my carplay though you have to turn the cardo off first connect to carplay then turn it on and it's fine and you can really crank the volume up without distortion I have yet to try a call but so far I've been very impressed was gonna get the better one but this works so good no need and I got it on black Friday so I got a great deal also I live the fact that it's so easy to take off your helmet so you don't have to worry about thieves

Exactly what it needs to be
This is a good system at a good price. If you want super high quality sound with deep bass, go with a more expensive model. If you want to have interconnected conversation with a big group, go with a more expensive model. But what what I needed was simple Bluetooth for scooting around the city every day, so I could hear turn by turn directions from my GPS, important alerts from my phone that I might need to pull over and tend to, or answer or make an emergency call with my helmet on. In all those use cases, this does the job very well. And if I do want better sound quality later, there are JBL speakers available as an upgrade from Cardo.

Works Perfectly on Straight Piped Harley
First off, I watched a ton of reviews of these, people complained about the speakers, im a solo rider on harley 1200 thats straight piped, i can hear my music PERFECTLY! Same with phone calls, if you want something with great speakers, easy setup and bluetooth that works every time. Buy this Cardo.

As advertised
Make sure the speakers line up perfectly with your ear hole. Good sound for the price, only gripe would be that the speaker don’t have much base. Clear voice talk on phone calls.
