Really good deal. If you are on the fence, the price alone is worth the attempt before you buy a new iPad. Comes with instructions and a QR code to help with installation. The instructions are not very in depth. They give you basic direction, but they are adequate enough. As long as you possess a smidgen of mechanical aptitude you will be able to perform this task. Take your time. Understand what you are doing and you will be fine. Highly recommend this product. Shipping was fast and item was packed well. Comes with everything you need except something to apply heat to melt the glue (I used my heat gun (a hair dryer is just as good). The screws inside the iPad are very small. Might be useful to have a container or zip lock bag to keep the screws in until you need them again so you don’t lose them. It took me a few hours, but I was being careful and taking my time. The new screen looks great. All buttons work (power, volume, home button, etc) and the touch feature works flawlessly. Just like new. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I would buy this product again. Highly recommend. Great customer service too if you have any questions throughout the process. They responded to all my emails the same day. Answered all of my questions. I’m happy with the transaction and overall experience. Glad I bought this product.

We’ve purchased this iPad 9th Generation screen replacement twice, and both times it worked great. The instructions were easy to follow, the installation went smoothly, and the tablets look like new again. Touch response works perfectly and everything functions as it should. I replaced the digitizer on my iPad using this kit and I’m very happy with the results. All of the included tools worked exactly as expected, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The screen itself works perfectly now with no issues in touch responsiveness. The hardest part of the whole process wasn’t the kit at all — it was dealing with my original screen being completely shattered. Removing broken glass safely definitely added extra time and difficulty, but that’s just something to be aware of if your screen is badly damaged. That challenge is no fault of the kit whatsoever. I also chose to transfer and reuse my original home button so I could keep my fingerprint/Touch ID functionality. That part can definitely feel intimidating if you’ve never done a repair like this before, but as long as you move slowly and carefully, it’s very doable. My biggest advice: take your time and follow the instructional videos step-by-step. Don’t rush it. If you do that, this is an excellent DIY repair option and can save you a lot of money over a shop repair. Highly recommended.

Awesome product. Very well explained all the processes to replace the screen even with a troubleshooting guide in case need it. Screen works and fit like the original one. You can save hundreds of dollars by doing the replacement by yourself.

The screen works and I have no issues with it thus far for the price. My main issues are with the instructions, which while they get the point across still need to be supplemented by watching other YouTube videos. This is not an easy install. I'm very DIY and would only recommend to those who are very careful. Make sure you use protective eyewear and maybe even gloves because of the screen is cracked you may send lots of tiny shards of glass all over the place as you attempt to remove it and scrape it off the frame. It took me over 2 hours as I was trying to be really careful and still got a piece stuck in my hand. But the product does work and allowed is to save a good iPad for a few more years.

Excellent product. Broken screen on iPad. Decided to try a screen replacement and it worked. Directions were clear cut and product was great. Like a brand new iPad after replacing screen. Everything you need is included in box. Would definitely purchase again.

Confusing instructions sometimes but overall good quality and way better than dropping a few hundred at the Apple Store. Just be very careful about where to cut through the old screen adhesive. Tip: put duct or heavy duty tape over the screen because it will crack/shatter. Highly recommend.

Mya son broke his iPad screen and didn’t want to pay over $200 for a shop to replace it so I ordered this set. You need a lot of patience, watch videos on YouTube and be a bit mechanically inclined before attempting the replacement. It works perfectly and took me about two hours to complete. Only four stars because the directions and QR’s for their videos and the tool set weren’t the best. Thankfully I ordered a better tool set with clamps which were perfect for the job. It was great saving a couple of hundred dollars on this DIY.

Auch wenn einige der anderen Kommentare anderes vermuten lassen, ist das Aufbringen des Displays absolut machbar. Auch ohne Vorerfahrung. Bezüglich gewünschter in den Bewertungen Anleitungsvideos: Es gibt einige im Internet. Mit denen kann man das ganz ohne Probleme ersetzen, auch wenn man ein iPad noch nie von innen gesehen hat. Auch die Kritik, dass es brüchig/leicht zu brechen wäre kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Es sollte recht klar sein, dass ein dünner Touchscreen nicht extreme Kräfte abkann. Allerdings bricht er bei halbwegs vorsichtiger Handhabung NICHT. Als kleiner Kritikpunkt könnte man nennen, dass der Homebutton bereits eingeklebt ist und man ihn erst entfernen muss, wenn man den alten Homebutton mit Touch-ID verwenden will (übrigens auch nicht so tragisch wie manchmal behauptet). Der Homebutton lässt sich allerdings entfernen und mittels originaler Klammer der alte Humebutton verwenden.

Replaced my cracked digitizer. Use a hardryer to melt glue on edges. Be careful when using razor to remove old digitizer, I scratched inside screen very slightly. Be aware touch ID will not work unless you replace home button, but apparently this is risky and I did not both. I never turned ipad off when install screen, something happened and screen was just blank when installed screen. I found a video which said when this happens disconnect battery for few second and reconnect. Luckily this worked for me, but was a bit scary. I recommend following instructions and cutting off power before unplugging and replugging screen and digitizer.

Watch the online videos first. Feel confident, have the tools to do it, then buy it. I wish I had an extra helping hand to hold the screens once dismantled. I could had saved the thumb button to retain the fingerprint option. Some videos will show you how to CAREFULLY disconnect the connector so you can use it again. However, to my horror, once I realized I accidentally ripped the button connector, I was glad they included one with the kit. All is working fine, the trickiest part was the final connections. Thank God for their online video. The paper instructions are not helping. Good product, glad to know they are willing to help and send another screen if you don't fold the connector ribbon correctly prior to reassembly.
