Maurice Franklin Louver RLW-100 4, 4-Inch Mini Round Aluminum Insect Proof Mini Louvers With Screen, White (Pack of 4)

We purchased these for our sunroom for adequate ventilation from the soffit. (This acts sort of like a ridge vent in that respect.) The 4" rounds fit into a universal mount for vinyl siding ( you just need to have a 4" round hole saw to cut and you are golden.) We caulked the louvres into place, and there is a bit of room to caulk from the inside of the wall, too. Very sturdy louvers. Screen is well made. Great USA made product. We spray- painted the white louver with RustOleum's Roofing Touch Up Spray ( in Wicker to match our siding)- which is made just for exterior uses such as this. It turned out exactly as hoped. Recommended product.

Used this product instead of cheaper box store product. Mauricio Franklin Louver were installed at the very top of the side of the shed where it meets the roof roof. Sorry I don't know the correct terminology. Product was easy to install. We purchased a hole cutter to fit the Mauricio Franklin Louver. No caulking was needed. Our goal was to ventilate the very top of the shed where the temperatures were over 100 degrees in 70 degree weather. We like the low profile and sleek appearance. We were concerned about water leaks during rains. There were no leaks after a thunderstorm. We were concerned about airflow. Airflow was stronger than anticipated. No noise - just physics at work. We used two on each end where the walls met the roof. Would buy again.

This arrived in good shape - adequately packaged and protected. They fit snugly in a 4inch hole (via hole saw). The hole needs to be fairly clean and straight. (hole saws can sometimes cut at an angle.) Anyway when the hole is good the fit is good. In my application I don't have room for a standard rectangular vent covers everywhere, so this was really my only choice. But they seem to be as well made as the rectangular ones I picked up at a big-box store.

Perfect for our new backyard shed. The shed was built without any ventilation and in the hot VA summers, we needed some way to circulate the air inside. Mounted two at the eves and this has helped keep temperatures down. Easy to install, we just traced the bottom and cut with a jig saw. The lip around the vent is about 1/2" so that covers up any inconsistency with the cut. No water has entered our shed and there is a screen attached to prevent bugs from getting in as well. Well worth the money.

Worked great for garage door vents. I almost didn't order them due to concern of other reviews vents arrived damaged. I received mine boxed and well packaged. The screen included is good to keep out critters, including most bugs (of course not the smallest of bugs). The garage is noticeably less hot with these vents and a fan I installed in the garage ceiling. I don't really have to run the fan much as with 4 of these installed the passive cooling works well.

Made in the USA, aluminum, well-designed, well-made, louver on the outside screen on the inside, perfect for venting my hot south Florida craw space.

My only complaint is that I wish these were a little cheaper, however the item was shipped quickly and was a as described. To be fair, i ordered these for a project and then did not end up needing them, but I liked them so I just put them on a shelf in the shelf because I'm sure I will find a use for them eventually. (So I can't review their actual use) - But overall I was happy!

These 4" vents are exactly what I was looking for. I put two of these on the sides of my shed to allow air flow. I have an 8x10 wood shed and they look attractive. The screens are well made and should not allow insects to enter the shed. I recommend these if you are looking for small, insect-free vents. I used a 4" Dewalt hole saw to cut the opening. The fit was perfect. I also caulked around them using clear Lexel caulk. I don't anticipate having any issues with this product.
