The containers are ok. Lids don’t fit well

Every now and then I have to start over with my meal prep containers because over time there is such a mix of tops and bottoms my cabinets are cluttered with mismatches. This year I purchased these ones and ziplock ones in a similar size. I like the way the lids fit on these because I don't have to wrassle with them, they seal good enough for the refrigerator. I don't heat food up in them, I use my pyrex dishes for that. I also use these for short term freezing.

I always have leftovers in my refrigerator and freezer because I often make minestrone soup, chili, lasagna or some pumpkin chili. In the refrigerator I keep boiled eggs cut in half with fillings, leftover chicken dishes, any leftover dinner vegetables (green bean casserole) or mashed potatoes and gravy. Really you can have a feast out of these little containers as long as you keep a few in the refrigerator! They stack especially well, fit into small spaces and can be put in the dishwasher. We shake the water off them when they are done in the dishwasher and they dry pretty fast after that. I can't live without these and keep ordering more. You can also microwave in them. So basically freezer/dishwasher/microwave safe as far as I can tell. One thing to watch out for is when taking them out of the microwave, don't lift one corner of a lid too quickly as steam escapes. I sometimes put the lid on upside down and knock it off with a spoon until the steam has finished. One thing however, don't heat lasagna in the containers because the oils and tomato tend to heat up the plastic too much and you end up with ruined containers. These are good, durable and STACKABLE. And the great thing about them is they say GLAD in big letters on both the body and the lid, so they’re easy to find in the Tupperware drawer. They’re a great size for freezing. They make a great size for freezing.
