Great range bag for two.
Great range bag for two shooters, holds two sets of ear and eye protection perfectly (pictured), larger back compartment holds my IFAK and tool kit nicely, plenty of small and medium pockets for batteries, tools and whatever else you may need at the range, it claims it will hold three firearms and it may, but it will be tight, two fit absolutely perfect, the side pouch labeled for tape/stapler holds 250-300 9mm or 200-250 .45 (maybe more depending on box sizes) with ease, it's comfortable to wear, atleast from the car to the range, I don't exactly hike with it, I haven't had it for that long so I can't speak to it's durability, but it's very well built, The only thing I would change would be to make the waist strap detachable, other than that I highly recommend.

Buy this bag second so you know how good it is!!
Amazing bag. I shoot PRS competitions and instruct LR. My previous bag was tested and tough to replace but, on a recommendation, I have the GPS TR B-pack a try. Very impressed with quality of material, zippers and rigidity on bag. The “basement” compartment is a great feature. When you need separate pistol accommodations, the included pistol cases to fill basement are great. I don’t use this as intended but instead store a Mini Armageddon Game Changer bag, spotting optics ( binos or spotter ) and a shemagh. The compartment stays protected even with top compartments full. Labeled pockets are a neat feature but more for “ideas” than actually practical for “everyone” but good stuff none the less. One specifically nice feature are the hearing protection pouches on top zipper pouch. They “actually “ are the best size for higher end hearing protection. So many bags market themselves as well thought out but the most important functions of the bag itself don’t work. GPS has this covered. Things just layout well and seem to arrange in a manner of importance. Top pouches are mainly “every stage” items and lower are “once a day” or “not so often” stuff. Great job making a useful, purpose built bag that looks good and built rugged.

Perfection!
I am an avid shooter and utilize indoor shooting ranges in my area. This range backpack is perfect for indoor range rules of bringing your firearm to the shooting area in a case. This product has three separate handgun pouches that can hold a handgun along with magazines. This makes it easy to just bring the handgun I want to shoot up to the shooting station instead of bringing my whole bag with me. It also makes it easy to then place the separate pouches back into my gun safe for storage after I have cleaned them. I appreciate how well thought out the pack is and that it has room for all of my ammo and shooting accessories. The pack is high quality material and is well worth the price I like the fact that it even has a separate plastic box for tools/cleaning equipment. I hope the manufactures read this and make a rifle bag that is similar! If you appreciate quality firearm accessories this is probably the top of the line range backpack you can buy!

Only range bag you'll need . . .
This is the best range bag hands down. I compete in multiple shooting disciplines (IDPA, 3 Gun, USPSA) and this keeps all my odds & ends organized (target stapler, bore sighter, tools, light, range finder, gloves, eye pro, ear pro, etc., etc., etc.,) Most range bags have all your stuff settling to the bottom of the main storage area. This pack keeps everything within reach. I never find myself "digging" through this bag to find some tool or such. This comes with a 3" x 5" clear plastic box with dividers in it to keep small parts organized (great for extra springs, detents, etc...) The MOLLE straps really add to the bag. I strapped on some Tactical Tailor modular packs to keep my lunch, Leatherman MUT, water bottle, spare mags and extra shotshells within a quick grasp. The 3 pistol cases are top notch. Of note, you won't fit anything bigger than a Glock 34 or 5" 1911 in them. Pistol cases have enough room to store a pistol with an RMR mounted too. Stitching is high grade. The top rear has velcro to mount your id tag or some morale patches. Only negative: I don't think this bag really needs a padded waist strap. It's not a ruck and you are not going to hump this pack long range into the outback. The padded shoulder straps are all this bag needs.

Well planned, but not perfect
Pros: - pockets are well planned for the modern shooting range experience - hard plastic frame separating ammo boxes from guns is very sturdy - materials feel robust (if a little too stiff at first) - pistol pouches can accept full size guns (see XDM 4.5"), if barely - pistol area can accept 3 SnapSafe boxes instead of supplied pistol pouches Cons: - pistol pouches would be more functional if they folded on the long edge - magazines can slide out of pockets in current configuration - too expensive In my area, pistols must be transported in a locking box. The zippers on the pistol area can take a luggage lock, but we all know that's a bluff of a solution. I bought this bag to see if SnapSafe boxes would fit in the pistol area. They sure do. But the non-slip rubber on the plastic boxes makes them a little difficult to slide out. The metal SnapSafe boxes would come out much easier, but each metal box is two pounds heavier than the plastic box, for a total of six extra pounds. In the end I decided that this design was amusing, but not worth the price. Since I am using the SnapSafes anyway, I will continue to carry them in a duffel style range bag.

G.P.S. Tactical Range Backpack
The G.P.S. Tactical Range Backpack is full of storage, has 3 pistols sleeves and is very sturdy. I have been using this bag for over a year now and have had no malfunctions with zippers or clips. I like the fact that it is a backpack and it is definitely easier to carry if you have long walks to the range. the only down side is that it is a little bulkier because it is stiffened to hold its shape.

GOOD BAG NOT ENOUGH ROOM
At first sight this looks like a great bag. I have not brought it to the range so I can’t speak on reliability or dependability. However I do have a few comments. First it does seem very rugged. The material seems to be of good quality. Compartments are very adequate. People say no room for ammo and I see plenty. Don’t think they noticed that the top compartment can be turned into one big compartment. The strap/bungee for targets is a little weird but that is always one thing that bothered me at a range is carrying them also.....problem solved on that one it is a nice feature. Not to much on the labeling part but it doesn’t bother me that bad either. I do a lot of indoor range time so no need for tape and staplers etc... One down fall if you can’t remove the waist strap.... and It is VERY AWKWARD when you put in the bag and it stabs you in the back or just flips around in the way. Just get rid of that I don’t think anyone is making a two mile hike to go shoot and if so to bad find somewhere closer. I will probably cut mine off. The only other flaw I see is the gun storage compartment... I put a smith and Wesson 9mm in one bag with 4 mags. Then a colt .45 1911 in one with two mags and had to squeeze them in. I honestly don’t think I will be able to fit another handgun in that compartment even though it has space for three. Everything else seems good but I will put it to the test over the next few weeks and we will see how well it hold up!

Although its a tight fit, you can definitely fit 3 pistols w full assortment of mags.
Overall its a very well made pack. The material is thick, durable, & the stitching is ample. The main straps & top handle are very strong & fully loaded with ammo, etc., they have held up nicely. The main/pistol compartment zippers have a lock loop built in so that's handy, although not terribly secure in the grand scheme.. Its just a simple travel bag zipper lock & not at all like a proper gun safe. The hard shell that lines the pistol compartment is removable & is not sewn or glued in. Friction from pulling the pistol cases out has on occasion caused the hard shell to pull out slightly. I've found pulling the central case out first helps to avoid this condition & overall it hasn't been a problem. I think some internal snaps or velcro could have eliminated that issue entirely. There are plenty of pouches & internal compartments to keep your items separated & organized. I don't follow the stitched in icons at all & personally I don't think they add much value. I just put whatever fits in whatever pouch & call it good. The upshot is that you can keep things very organized with or without the icons. The 3 main pistol pouches, in addition to the magazine pockets, also have a divider sewn in, as well as a felted pocket with a velcro closure, which is nice. I read one review that said the owner puts 6 pistols in the main compartment since there are those dividers. I suspect that owner must have pulled out the hard shell liner, or keeps his mags separate from the pistol pouches. 3 pistols with mags in each pocket is a tight & secure fit. Fully loaded, with about 1000 rounds of ammo, & all my other gear, the back is about 50 lbs or a little more.. Time will tell if the construction & straps hold up to that kind of loading. I treat it gently & as such I think they will. Overall the pack is well made & well designed for its intended use. The price is pretty hefty compared to some other import/molle/tactical/mission packs out there, but the unique design, quality of materials & construction warrant that price difference in my opinion.
