Fiskars 390470-1002 Power Tooth Soft Grip Folding Saw, 10in

Needed to take down several 5” thick dead trees. Saw didn’t balk - spend the money and buy it.

Great saw for taking down limbs around the house and in the woods. Also fantastic for hunting taking the antlers. Teeth are very aggressive and sharp, but cut clean in soft as well as hard wood. Works in pull and push strokes equally well. Hinge is very sturdy and blade is stiff enough to not bend and buckle when sawing. Teeth are Very easy to clean and blade stays folded. Wil not cut your backpack up when carrying. Back side edges of saw are deburred and do not cut your hand when handling. Molded handle is easy to hold and very comfortable. Overall a very well made saw.

Generally well constructed and gets emergency jobs done pretty well.

Super sharp, use it on the trails to clear cut. Works awesome.

I've found Fiskars products to be a great product for their price point. Fiskar is good quality and more affordable option. I have the 16' telescoping saw + trimmer which is fantastic, so I decided to go with this for smaller jobs closer to the ground. And over all I'm happy with it. I have a couple of physical conditions that can sometimes hold me back, but I can't afford the brands I would normally want. I ordered this because I was shocked on how fast my current saw worked on higher branches that were pretty thick, so I got this smaller version for things closer to the ground. The feel, durability, grip and sharpness did not disappoint. This saw cut right through bigger branches quickly and with ease once you get it started. It doesn't grab and bite into the branches as I expected. I must admit I prefer the long telescoping saw over this hand held one. It just didn't quite meet my expectations, but still does a really decent job.
