Happily surprised!!
Ok. Well, I didn't expect a great deal for an exhaust bandage to be honest, but I'll happily eat my words at the moment. Had a rather hefty leak near a gasket joint, just after the cat, so a matter of a few foot away from the turbo. Instructions were very simple, and once you've managed to coat the bandage in goo (all in a package, so you don't get coated.. yet) The wrap comes out slathered in a white paste, and its easy enough to place and maneuver, but its a bugger to keep in place.. The aluminium foil strip, I found, was useless, and I ended up using zip ties whilst the resin hardened. I decided to let the resin harden for a few hours instead of running the car. But I do have to say.. wow... this stuff is rock solid and patched a hole for a while. Don't usually recommend things like exhaust repair bandages, but good lord.. if you need a temporary repair thats going to last.. get this.

good stuff
covered a large (almost 2-inch, in a truck exhaust) hole very well, and has stayed in place for months. saved loads of money

Great product
Bought to fix an exhaust. It worked great. Was well sticky and was easy enough to apply

Good product for a semi permanent fix.
This stuff is perfect and can be used in many applications. It will seal any small holes in a number of pipes on your vehicle and once set properly is strong. It is likely you will end up with a hole somewhere else before this fails.

Not as good as fibrefix
I used fibrefix years ago on a car it was brilliant they have been taken over apparently by JB weld and this product is nowhere near as good ! Shame fibrefix recipe could have taught jbweld a few things ... Power of the corporate giving rubbish to the public again

This kit is a lifesaver for DIY exhaust repairs. I used it to seal a small leak on my tailpipe, and the results have been fantastic. The high-temperature fiberglass wrap is easy to apply—you just dip it in water and wrap it tightly around the damaged area. Once it cures with the heat of the engine, it hardens into a rock-solid, permanent cast that can withstand temperatures up to 1100°F. It completely stopped the loud exhaust noise and prevented further leaking. It’s a much more affordable and effective alternative to replacing the entire pipe. Highly recommended for any quick and durable exhaust fix!

My wife's car got a crack in the exhaust pipe which also has the front catalytic converter. I did not want to replace it just now, but I also did not want to the pipe to drop if the crack spread. This product wraps around the pipe and will provide supports to about six inches of the pipe. It cures well and seems extremely strong. It is easy to install, just wrap it around. It is good and sticky, has enough length for a few wraps of the pipe, and is certainly a cost effective temporary repair compared to running into the muffler shop. I've had this on her car for a couple of weeks and there is no leakage.

I thought this product worked well. It’s been 2 days and still holding. We had a flex connector weld break under the passenger floor area of our car. I cleaned the pipe up and wrapped it with this stuff. The car still slightly louder than I expected but way quieter than it was. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because I wrapped the exhaust super tight and made sure to follow instructions and have the wrap go onto each side of the pipe past damaged area but we can still tell the car is louder than it would be with a proper fix. I would buy again and I would use again but next time I’ll know the car won’t be as quiet as it was before the weld failure. So far a decent option for repair.
