I have 4-C hair and it works great on my texture of hair.

I’ve used many hair gel but this one is the best of them all. It doesn’t dry the hair or leaves white residue like some hair gel. It doesn’t make the hair greasy or break the hair either. Smells really good too and not too strong, just perfect. Really, really love this product! You’ve gotta try for your curls

I have been using Mixed Chicks for many years now. This is a good gel and does a good job of holding the curl pattern of my hair. It lasts a long time as a little goes a long way. The CON is that the smell is pretty strong to me. Not a bad smell, just really perfumy. It also has a bit of a caste after it dries. If these do not bother you, then this is a great gel to try. I have 3C-4B curls.

If I could give this ten stars I would! 15 kids and tried so many hair products and nothing worked as good as this! I loved it on my mixed grandbaby and mixed daughter, so much I tried it on my own (white) and then my black sons! To my surprise, even on my white people hair it looked amazing. Even hours later! So easy and I love that it’s the only product I need! It smells great too! I’m gonna stock up on this!

Best product for those slick and shiny ponytails for us colored women. I definitely recommend using a thick moisturizer (such as grease) just before using because it dries your hair out. Other than that, it makes styling so much easier.. and your hair looks silky and prettier.

Didn't want to write a review but theres no email address for seller. Item arrived with hole in top of tube so half of tube had hardened. Otherwise good product.

Has a jelly texture, and a good smell. Unfortunately, I found it too drying.

It feels sticky in your hands, but when you put this stuff on your hair, it absolutely transforms it. I use the mixed chicks leave in first, then this. It makes my hair silky soft, shiny (which is not usual for curly hair) and smooth, no frizz, but I still can have volume. Honestly the best styling product I've used on my hair and I have tried EVERY product for curly hair on the market, from Pantene to high end products you get at the salon, and this is the top.
