Great! But be WARNED - Comes with a European plug...
BeQuiet! Always seem to create stand-up power supplies, which is why they were my go to for this little unit. So far, so brilliant! Just be warned that it does come with a European plug, which I can't find stated anywhere?!... No hassle if you've got a 13amp kettle plug laying around, but if you haven't got one spare it is an extra cost... would recommend changing the listing to at least advise. Doesn't change the little gem that it is though!

No Uk plug or adapter.
Very disappointed that there was no stating in the description that this only comes with a Euro plug but no converter/adapter for uk plugs!

What is going on with PSU's in 2024?
I don't know what's happening in the PSU market at the moment, but there is such little choice, especially if you need an SFX supply. In my case I needed an SFX PSU to power a NAS I was building. 450W is overkill for this application, but I wanted a PSU from a trusted manufacturer, and given the choice, there really wasn't much other option than this at sub £100 with the connectors I required. I am disappointed that it is only 80 plus bronze, frankly at this sort of price it should be gold efficiency standard. For what it is, I like the supply. It seems well built, the fan is quiet and it has all the connectors I required.

A part looking for somewhere to fit
I originally bought this as a substitute for the PSU originally specced for my NAS build but it was a little too gutless for what I wanted. I may be using it in a future build, however. It's just another chapter in what I found to be a real problem with finding SFX power supplies!

Lacks a dual 4 pin 8 pin total CPU power connector, it only has one 4 pin CPU power connector although in the product description it states the following " The dual 12V rail design supports high stability as the CPU receives its power " This is misleading as there is only one 4-pin CPU power connector. although this will work this is 1980's CPU building in a modern era where motherboards even more rigid business oriented motherboards are manufactured with two 4 pin CPU power connectors. This is for added stability of power delivery to the CPU. A single 4 pin connector can deliver a maximum of 160 Watts which is well over the requirements of many CPU's even when overclocked however that is not the point the point is added stability with the redundancy of the two 12 volt CPU power connectors and that is also required to support modern motherboards that are manufactured with the dual 4 pin 8 pin CPU power connector. Other than that the power supply was quiet and seems to be of good quality. I suggest you however modernize this power supply to support a dual 4 pin 8 pin total 12 volt CPU power connector and I will consider possibly purchasing it again in the future, until then no.

For a small form factor, low TDP system you're really threading the needle of size, power, noise level, and heat. This is a very weird size category for power supply, so you're going to be limited on the venn diagram of "power supplies that fit the case," "reasonable prices" and "power supplies that are from. Reliable brands." Given that a bad power supply can literally burn your house down - reliable brand is a non negotiate factor for me. It was a easy install. Definitely value for money.

The unit had only standby power. +5V, +12V, and +3.3V rails didn't come up at all after asserting PS_ON. -12V rail was POSITIVE +1.4V. The tech support was incompetent. I had an impression they didn't even read my emails carefully. After a back-and-forth exchange, where they tried to convince me I hadn't plugged it in correctly, they suggested sending me a new power cord. 🤣 The funniest part in that was the amount of paperwork they requested: 1. Proof of purchase (PDF invoice sent as attachment). 2. Confirm which items are defective or missing and the replacement quantity. (attach photos if possible) 3. Complete shipping information (name, address, phone number). I am surprised they didn't ask (i) a DNA sample to verify I'm the actual purchaser; (ii) a polygraph test to confirm the power cord is actually defective,... (xxxi) a video of my colonoscopy.
