Bought these for my grandma and she loves them!

I cut my own hair a couple months ago. I’m not very good at cutting my hair…so I have these odd uneven layers here and there. Regular rollers just slip off, but I LOVE the grip these rollers have! They grip my layers and keep them contained! Although, when I compare these to other rollers, the results are a bit more frizzy and less clean (not that I dislike the extra volume!) I’m also saddened that I… can’t sleep with these 💔 If you try a regular roller set and go to bed, it’ll stab you! And you’ll go OWW OW OW WOW OW and can’t sleep. But I’ve remedied this by changing my roller pattern to only the top of my head! Anyway, I’m very happy with how my hair looks using these, very fluffy and voluminous

WARNING!!!! If your hair is not short (mine is shoulder length), you will happily wind these up, ignore them for a morning, and when you go to unwind you will have the very rude awakening that they are IMPOSSIBLE to get out. It was quite the sweaty nightmare (and rather hilarious), trying to remove these. I didn't sleep in them...the spikes would make that pretty impossible. I just showered, slightly blowdried my hair, rolled them up in these curlers and worked at my desk for 5 hours. I'm going back to my sponge curlers for now, but I am going to save these as they are well made and I may choose to go with a short hair style at some point. However, it would help if these curlers had a warning! Short hair ONLY.

I have very fine, super straight, flat hair. Curling irons make it look cute for an hour and then the curls fall flat. I got these to try doing a wet set with lottabody setting lotion and they work like a dream. My hair stayed cute all night. I can see how longer hair may get tangled in these but I haven't had any serious problems with that. I love these so much

I made a mistake wasting my money on these. I have long naturally curly hair and wanted a roller that would give me more of a uniform, gentle curl that would be easier to style. These are not it. I had to take them out before my hair was fully dry because the bristles poking into my scalp were so irritating, and I’m so glad my hair was still somewhat damp because these got stuck and caused horrible knots. I even panicked at one point and thought I might have to cut one out but luckily my hair was just damp enough to slide the roller off sideways if I dug my fingers between the roller and my hair. It could be that I have the wrong hair type for this product, so if you have fine curly hair, I suggest you keep looking.

Purchased for my elderly mum who wears rollers in bed, the ones with the bristles stick in and are uncomfortable to sleep in, whereas these bristles can be pulled out but still roll up the hair and get a defined curl in the morning.
