QMX Firefly Coaster Set

Bought for my fried and he loved it.

For a simple and colorful home decor piece to show off a bit of your inner geek-- I think this coster set is pretty nice to have around the home. I've seen some of the other reviews and I'm not certain what kind of heavy use or glassware is being set on these. If one's concerned about wear and tear (which happens to all daily use items) then I'd just display the pieces around the house. Though they're reasonably sturdy to use as a coaster and can wipe clean with little difficulty if a spill occurs on the coaster. The one quirk I find with the material for the coaster is that the condensation on glass from a cold drink may sometimes cause the coaster to stick to the bottom of the glass. However I've had this same incident occur with several different coasters that were not made of straight cork or stoneware materials. I would love to see a stoneware coaster version of this set. Otherwise I think these are great for basic use around the house and the storage tin is also a nice little addition to the set.

Excellent quality! Perfect home decor for any Firefly fan. They come in a tin case which is also decorative and nice for storing the coasters when they're not being used. But who am I kidding, these will always be used!

Made out of metal and come in a metal case. Easy use and storage!

Bought these for a friend and she loves them. They were very nice and I got exactly what I expected.

The construction is very cheap looking and these coasters are SMALL. I mean the pictures are clear, no pixelation, they haven't scratched during use, but they're just almost too small to be useful. They're more decorations than anything for me.
