Opaque. White gouache is excellent for adding highlights.

Packaging had a sticky substance inside that needed to be cleaned
The paint is fine but came in clear plastic packaging that had a sticky substance inside that needed to be cleaned off the paint tube

Pretty great paint!
Super effective white, and a little goes a VERY long way. It is opaque and dries relatively fast, unless applied super thickly. The only thing is that if you apply it alone and or thick, it is a little chalky and rubs off if touched. Nonetheless, I would still recommend!

EXCELLENT OPACITY - CLEAN WHITE COLOR - PERFECT FOR DEPICTING STARS/COMETS/SMALL PLANETS, ETC.
I like to paint galaxy/nebula scenes with watercolor. I purchased this gouache for a clean, opaque white that I can use for stars/comets/small planets, etc. The texture is good, the opacity is excellent, and the size is very generous for the price. I’ve included a photo of one of my paintings to give you an idea of how I use this product. I am very pleased with this gouache and would definitely consider buying it again. Two thumbs up!

White gouche
Love white acrylic but this offers a matte finish so better for watercolor. It's a very small tube but most just take out at a time. Glad we bought it

Good with watercolor
When you're a watercolor artist you leave the white of the paper for your whites, because watercolor paints will combine with whatever color is below it. This is for when you goof and lose a white accent and need it back. Excellent.

Good alternative to the Dr one

This is a wonderful gouach paint, and also works well with watercolours. I use it right from the tube for more opaque touches, or let it dry in the palette and rewet it to use mixed with watercolours. The texture is creamy wet or dry and I just love it. The only issue is the tube is too small. Please sell the bigger size.
