Great camera with great battery life
I was looking for a camera to connect to my Hik. Connect set up. I need a camera that was wireless and didn’t require any kind of wiring due to where I was locating in both the porch and the rear of the garden. They said it was really straightforward and easy. I was able to use the eviz app to the hik connect app.The battery life on the camera is superb since purchase and fully charged. I’ve not had to charge it yet and it has now been five weeks.Build quality superb and feels really premiumI managed to purchase the camera whilst it was on offer meaning greater value for money. If you have owned this brand before you know of the quality and ease of use and I would recommend this camera.I have since purchased further cameras from the same make further locations around the house where I cannot run wires.

Better than branded competitors
Fantastic product!I have gone through multiple different CCTV cameras with solar panels. I live on a busy road, but don't want to lower the detection sensitivity, as I would be compromising my security. As a result, the battery would often die extremely quickly (even with the solar panel). However the solar panel on this camera is phenomenal, I will never have to charge the battery again. It keeps it's fully charged on a very busy road, in the middle of winter with no sun, AND it's not even angled correctly to get the most light! The actual product and packaging are of extremely high quality, it's heavy and well made. The app is very easy to use, and no cloud subscription is necessary, however I purchase this for £24 a year for ease of mind as a second back up.The intelligent human detection is very accurate, I haven't had to change any settings. I've watched it live and it hasn't missed any recordings of people, but also didn't record unnecessarily.I tested both the alarm and light, the alarm is loud (although I never use it), the light is good (although I never use it).It has a great connection to my WiFi even though it's very far away from the WiFi router.Everything was just brilliant quality, better than the leading brand CCTV I had. I honestly can't fault it for the price

Great, but not for me, BECAUSE...
The media could not be loaded. I bought Ezviz security camera to replace my old Blink XT2 security system. Both has FHD, but I have to say, Ezviz has much better video quality (especially at daytime) and wider angle 👍 and I was quite happy with picture quality when fully stopped video and fully zoomed in (picture 1️⃣ and video 1️⃣).It has good battery. I've been doing a lot of testing all day long and battery dropped only one precent. Of course you can use solar panel to keep your battery alive, so it should last ages 👌Another think what I liked, if you disarm system, camera still recording when it detects motion without sending notifications, which I think is cool! Another good thing, there is 32GB storage instaled, so you don't have to buy memory card separately 👍👍 I love that, because I'm not a cloud guy and I don't want to pay for that.So it is not bad camera at all 👍One of downsides is, motion detection didn't detect me when I was walking from my back yard up to my back door and you can see in picture 2️⃣ where it started recording me. So it is less motion detection distance than Blink. But I could live with that, because I want to use two sexurity cameras there - one for driveway, another for backyard. So why this camera is not for me?There is no place where I could attach security camera somewhere high... So if thief will steal the camera and press reset button, not I just loose the camera, but also loose all recorded footage 👎 as you can see in picture 3️⃣So if you can place it somewhere high, I really recomend this camera ✌️ it has nice picture quality, a lot of cool features for only £55 with solar panel on deal 🤯

Please read before you purchase.
Ok so I've taken my time in testing these cheap battery cameras and came across a few issues that may change your mind buying one.I'll start with the good stuff. The camera picture quality is really good, it has a nice wide angle lens. It records to the SD card (free) and cloud (subscription). It's advertises a 110 battery life with it's typical certain amount of uses per day. The pir is really good and has the odd flase hit. Infrared is also very good and excellent night vision picture or colour.Ok here's the bits will either make or break future purchases. The camera bracket is absolutely useless, you cannot angle the camera at a side angle, its poorly designed. It's a screwed plastic cover with a rubber insert to keep the bracket in place, if you tighten too much it just over tightens and slips and this doesn't give you a sturdy mount. In the app you cannot download off the SD card footage it's captured to your device, you have to play the video back and record the screen. You can only download and save to your device using the subscription service. These cameras are being mis-sold as the SD card function is totally useless as you cannot use on your own pc as the files are encrypted.Ok your thinking that's not an issue I'll take the SD card out and play it back on my computer, no you cannot do that either, the footage will not playback on a computer. The PC software is awful, it's simply terrible to work. Nothing works like they say it works, the LAN connected cameras don't work, I believe this is too stop you downloading the footage as everything is encrypted. You don't actually own the SD card footage either.Battery life, ok it's pretty good to be fair in normal circumstances.WIFI connection, now this will still record if you don't have a WiFi connection but and this is a big but, this will kill your battery in 1 day flat. I think this is a firmware issue that the camera is looking all the time for a WiFi connection when it don't have one and it's killing the battery.Solar panel, I do not have the original micro usb solar panel, but I do have a reolink micro usb solar panel, same connection but it will not charge the camera from this other source. I'm not sure if they have some kind of protection on the port to stop other solar panels working.I'm not sure if they plan to change any of the issues I've raised. The biggest one for me is the non WiFi draining the battery life.I did buy x3 of these and would NOT buy them again. It's pretty clear once you buy these cameras that they are subscription based only, but only after you do some research. I feel liked I've been conned.
