Runs very small
I'm a woman and I bought these for myself because as women we'd pay $8-12 more for "women's" thermals. Total silliness, imo. That being said, on to the review, (which might help the guys.) I'm 5'11 and 160lbs. After reading the reviews, I bought an XL which fits me perfectly. Not too tight but not at all baggy. I'd say if you're a guy this would start to get skin tight at the 175lb, maybe sooner in the shoulders if you have wide ones. The body length is long and goes past my butt, the sleeve length hits me right at the wrist without pulling up or being tight.I gave it four stars because it's what I was looking for, a light shirt to layer for the fall/inside winter wear. It's not the old school thermals Hanes used to make, I wouldn't wear it for extended periods outdoors and expect to stay warm. It's comfortable next to the skin and it didn't shrink on washing. Over all a decent layering shirt for the money if you can find the right size.

Champion Men's Thermal Top size XL
The product was not I originally ordered, but I decided to accept it anyway. It may not be as advertised when I bought it, but it does keep you warm and great for those really cold nights. This is a Champion Men's Thermal Top and it does work similar to Hanes Men's Thermal Top and other products. Somehow the seller wanted to sell me the Champion version than the Hanes version for some reason. Well, it's still a good product. Therefore, I would suggest buying it, but be aware that sometimes sellers may sell you something that is not fully advertised. Something to not. Otherwise, a good product and I would recommend it-Champion Men's Thermal Top. Thank you.

They are not as small as some suggests
The reviews that say they are too small might be missing the point of these thermals. If you intend to wear them under a shirt, their close fit is perfect for that purpose as it minimizes the cramming feeling of wearing too many things. If the intent is to just wear them as tops, then you should go for the heavy-weight type because these are mid-weight type.

Tighter fit than past version
I bought this 6 years ago and just bought another. It's a good shirt to have around on winter days when you come inside and can't warm up. It's light but gives you some added warmth and used to not be restrictive. I still have my old shirt and put it up against this one. The sleeves are shorter which I like. However, it's a much more narrow fit. When you're inside you want to be comfortable and if these don't loosen after wear, I'll probably just throw them into a drawer and never see them again.

Runs small - short in the arms
Overall this shirt is exactly what I expected but it is far too small for the size I ordered (XL).I am 6'1" 190 lbs, weightlifter. I purchased an XL, normally I wear an L in almost any brand and the fit is perfect.I bought this shirt to wear lifting in my home gym which I keep around 60 degrees in the winter. I wanted a slightly baggy long sleeve shirt that would allow good mobility. I have a few other shirts of a similar style in XL from different brands that work perfectly but were more expensive. The biggest problems are the arms are several inches too short (see photo) and the collar is very tight. The body length and overall fit is fine, although it feels more like a standard L type fit rather than the baggier XL I was looking for with increased mobility for lifting.

I'm a woman and love this shirt
I was expecting a thicker woven fabric. I had an old one that has a thicker waffle weave. This one is very thin and see through. I bought it because the softness of the fabric and the comfort next to your skin is very pleasant. This shirt is one that I wouldn't wear in public. I sleep in it. It has loose stitching and each time I wash it,,it has more loose threads around the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt.

Perfect fit, nice undershirt
Fit way better than the Fruit of the Loom brand equivalent. The large is perfect to use as an undershirt on a guy who'd normally wear a large t-shirt (meaning, it's a bit tight, but not skin tight - that's how you want an undershirt at least in my opinion). Pretty good quality. No complaints for the price.

I generally buy Hanes products exclusively because I've always like the way they fit
I generally buy Hanes products exclusively because I've always like the way they fit, however; Hanes must be slipping in their quality when they indicate a size that generally fits and results in an uncomfortable snug fit for a product that should be otherwise comfortable. I can't possibly rate this product any higher than "just okay". Not happy... sorry you disappoint me Hanes.

Not recommended.
VERY strange proportions. Big, baggy sleeves and an extremely tight fitting body. Even if you get a torso that fits you, the sleeves will be disproportionately baggy and weird. Not recommended.
