Great quality compressor hose wheel.
Been using this regularly in my garage for several months without any issues. Attach a good quality hose to it and use Teflon tape on the threads. Remove the quick connect coupling from one end of your air hose so you can screw the host directly into the connector on the wheel. I made the mistake of trying to attach a male coupling to the wheel so I could quick-connect the female hose connector, but that extra bulk prevents the wheel from turning effectively and your hose will smack into the wall when it's retracting or extending the hose.

Has done wonders, so easy to roll back up together no hassle, would recommend to buy worth the money.

Just Plain Handy
Minimal air leaks so far, and it's nice to be able to roll and unroll up to 50' of air hose from it. I have an in-line ball valve so I can send air to the reel when I want to use it. I have it mounted close to a door so that I can easily inflate car tires, run air tools, media blast, dust off, and paint projects outside.

Easy install with one minor hitch (workaround described)
Reel is well-constructed. Others have noted that the spacing of the mount points is a bit odd... it's not set up to mount directly on a stud on a wall, nor is it set up to mount on the wide side of a 2x4. I ended up mounting it on a square scrap of 3/4" plywood and the plywood is screwed top and bottom to the flat side of a 2x4. As others have also noted attaching the hose is quite a pain because the 3/8" female connector on the side of the reel is fix-mounted to the end of the connection to the air input feed. It really needs a coupling which can spin to attach the hose. I ended up using a quick connect which extends the connection by 3 to 4" and means the hose has to bend back into the reel beyond the round edge of the reel. I'll eventually find a better coupling. Overall a good

It is absolute garbage! (for pressure washer use)
This may work fine if you're using it for compressed air only. I was following what others had done and converted it to use on my 2800 psi pressure washer. So the one fatal flaw is that the threaded brass fitting that threads into the reel and provides the feed source from the pump to the washer hose, has only 1/4" of actual threads. Therefore, there is only 1/4" of the fitting connecting inside the reel input port. With the very high pressures being fed using just a basic everyday, light duty pressure washer, during the very first use, about 10 minutes after installing it, the hose fitting popped out of the threaded fitting on the input and basically stripped the threads, rendering it useless. Since it is beyond the return date, I am 'hosed'. Pun intended.

Not spring loaded
So for the price it's ok, Just thought it would retract the hose on it's own.

Gets the job done for a cheap price
I set up a air station in my garage with a loooong air hose I got at Hobo Freight! Now I can reach out into the drive way and around the house if needed. It's not fancy but it does the job.
