Good creeper stool for a good price. Rolls smoothly on my garage floor. Saves my back!
I got this mechanic creeper stool mainly for washing my cars and inflating tires. I have a bad back that will flare up if I push it too far, so I needed something to get me low without the strain. I received the Vevor stool and assembled it in a few minutes —it was very simple. I tried it in my garage, which has a finished floor, and it rolled easily around the cars while I checked tire pressure and topped off the tires that needed air. It stows nicely away in a corner of my garage, out of the way. Overall, it is a good creeper stool and is priced well. I know some stools are many times more expensive, but if you aren't a professional using these day in and day out, something like this is more than enough to get the job done. I do like the optionality of the trays for holding stuff, although I haven't put anything in them yet. I should have put the tire pressure caps in the tray, but I didn't think of that until I wrote this review!

I’d buy this again if the need arose
Bought this to make cleaning & waking my car easier (getting older). It’s just right. Assembly was a snap, size and quality are excellent. Love the two side trays and center compartment. The cushion looks thin but feels comfy. Yes, I’d buy this again if the need arose.

Most Comfortable Mechanic Stool Ever... After You Fix It Yourself (4 Stars)
Let's be real here – this VEVOR mechanic stool has some serious highs and one glaring low that requires a quick garage hack. First, the seat: absolutely fantastic. It's wide, thickly padded, and genuinely comfortable – easily the roomiest and most butt-friendly mechanic seat I've owned. No more feeling like you're perched on a skateboard. I can sit on this thing for hours without numbness or regret. The slide-out tool trays and drawer are a game-changer. Perfect for keeping bolts, nuts, washers, and that elusive 10mm socket from vanishing into the void. You know the drill: set a part down for "just a second," then spend 45 minutes hunting for it. These trays keep everything right there. (Pro tip: they could hold a drink, but I'd rather not tempt fate.) Now, the "300 lb capacity" and "rolling" part... oh boy. I'm 248 lbs (well under the limit), and out of the box, the wheel brackets flex like wet noodles. The stool holds my weight fine if I stay put, but rolling? Nope. The wheels bow inward dramatically, and it just refuses to move smoothly – more like dragging a stubborn shopping cart with a bad wheel. But here's the sarcastic silver lining: add a simple steel brace bolted between the two wheel brackets (10-15 minutes with basic tools), and it transforms. Suddenly, it rolls effortlessly and smoothly around the garage. No more flex, no more drama. After that easy mod, it's hands-down the best mechanic stool I've ever used. VEVOR, you were so close to perfection – just beef up those brackets from the factory, please. Overall, 4 stars. Highly recommend if you're handy enough to make one small improvement. If not, you might end up with a very comfy (but stationary) seat.

Makes cleaning wheels a breeze
I was tired of bending over to clean tires and wheels. This stool makes it much easier to do this job, and is the right height to do this job right. It was easy to assemble, and is sturdy. It rolls easily on concrete floors and drive ways.

Comfortable, stable and easy to maneuver
I just received this stool and I'm pretty impressed. I like the height and the large wheels roll easily. It replaced a mechanics stool I've had for over 30 years. This one is a major upgrade. It is taller, the rubber wheels make it easier to maneuver, the seating area is roomier and more comfortable. The locks on wheels are a nice feature as well. If you're trying to apply torque to a bolt, when locked, the seat will not slide out from under you.

Waste of money, but go ahead I did, at least I was just using up a gift card, what's your excuse?
5 Stars for sure!!!! Come on ya’ll, deep down you know this is junk, cheaply made, cheap hardware, wrenches included that don’t even fit lol. You are throwing away your money and you know it intuitively but go ahead. The casters will fail, the hollow support arms that hold the casters will collapse, the hollow cross braces that attach the hollow caster support arms will collapse, the formed plastic will get brittle and crack. You know this will fail in a short period of time, you know it for sure but here you are, spend your 55 bucks and spend it again next year. “300 lbs weight limit” “heavy duty” sure sure sure. You want a better alternative? Just do it, it's not difficult, ¾” thick plywood as the base/caster mount, cut to your desired shape, round, square, rectangle, whatever fits your needs. A set of (plate) casters (not stem) some grade 8 bolts, washers, and lock nuts to attach them to the plywood which also gets a piece of 2x4 or flat stock steel so you aren’t just depending on the plywood for structural support and mounting integrity of your casters. A boat seat swivel pedestal, might as get an adjustable one unless you know for sure what height you want to end up at. A cushioned boat seat or tractor seat of your choosing. Paint the wood to your preference and you’ve got seat that will last a lifetime for $50-$100 Go ahead, paint it to match your John Deere, or your tool box, or your car, or paint it pink for all I care. Thank me later.

Package received seemed to have been opened before by others. An empty plastic bag with ripped hole in it. Thinking that it may have contained the rollers. Assembly straight forward however the pre drilled holes for wheels have some solid rubber like material where the bolt passes through. Took a bit of wiggling before that was possible. ( the rubber like material did not line up 100 % with the pre drilled hole making insertion a bit of a challenge. Once my resident mechanic figured that out ..the rest was easy. He loves using using it in the garage and on the driveway. No more wearing knee pads and hurting your “mature” back.
